Abstract: In a digital camera (1), when a plurality of EV shift values are selected and operation of a set key is performed by a user, a CPU calculates shutter speeds that respectively correspond to the selected EV shift values (S6). Next, the CPU repeatedly picks up images in sequence at the individual calculated shutter speeds, sorts the picked-up frame image data by shutter speed, and generates moving image data for individual shutter speeds. Then, the CPU multiple-displays the generated moving image data for each shutter speed as through images (S9), and records the generated moving image data for each shutter speed (S17).

Abstract: An apparatus of feeding mailpieces such as envelopes is disclosed. The apparatus includes a supply conveyer for supporting thereon an array of mailpieces which are arranged in a tilted-backward position and moving such mailpieces forward, and a suction feeder which is located downstream of the supply conveyer for picking up by suction a forefront mailpiece from the array of mailpieces on the supply conveyer. The suction feeder has a rotary drum, a shaft rotatably supported in the drum and disposed with the axis thereof oriented in parallel to and offset from the axis of the drum. An external gear is fixed on the shaft for rotation therewith and a stationary internal gear engages with the external gear, the gear ratio of the external gear to the internal gear being n:n+1, wherein n represents an integer. A plurality of suction means arranged at positions radially spaced at a predetermined distance from the shaft and substantially equiangularly spaced from each other and movable integrally with the shaft in conjunction with the rotation of the drum for picking up each forefront mailpiece from the array of mailpieces on the supply conveyer.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus sequentially reads image data corresponding to an area to be displayed from an image memory by use of an access address. This image memory stores the image data corresponding to the display area and other image data for other uses. The access address for the image memory is determined by the image processing apparatus such that the access address is increased from the predetermined start address in response to a scanning of a display screen. When the access address reaches at a predetermined boundary address representative of an address of the last image data corresponding to the display area of the image memory, the access address jumps to a predetermined jump destination address (such as the start address). Hence, the display will be started from the jump destination address, whereby the other image data can be prevented from being used for the display or from being destructed.
