Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus includes: An access gateway function network element sends a session establishment request message of a terminal to a session management function network element. The session management function network element sends, to the access gateway function network element, at least one of a session identifier and an address of the terminal that correspond to an established session. The access gateway function network element obtains virtual interface information corresponding to the identifier of the established session. The access gateway function network element further sends the virtual interface information and the at least one of the session identifier and the address of the terminal to the terminal, so that the terminal establishes a first association relationship between the virtual interface information and the at least one of the session identifier and the address of the terminal.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a session management method and an apparatus. The technology is specifically related to sending, by user equipment, a NAS message to an AGF, where the NAS message includes a PDU session establishment request message used to request to establish a PDU session, receiving, by the user equipment, a PDU session establishment accept message returned by a network side device, and establishing, by the user equipment, an access session with the AGF, where the access session is an access session related to the PDU session. The user equipment sends the NAS message to establish the PDU session, and establishes the access session with the AGF. Because the access session is related to the PDU session, the user equipment can map the PDU session to the access session, so that the user equipment accesses a 5G CN through a fixed network
Abstract:
A method for identifying and controlling remote user equipment on a network side includes: receiving, by a session management device, an identifier of a remote user equipment, and generating, based on the identifier, a policy related to the remote user equipment, where the policy includes the identifier of the remote user equipment; sending the policy to a user plane function device; and identifying, by the user plane function device, a packet of the remote user equipment based on the policy, and implementing policy control on the remote user equipment based on the policy. According to the method, the network side can be compatible with service access of the remote user equipment and can perform service management and policy control on the remote user equipment.
Abstract:
This application discloses a network access method and apparatus, and a network device. The network access method is performed by an access gateway, includes: receiving a PPPoE message or a IPoE message sent by a user terminal, obtaining access information included in the PPPoE message or the IPoE message; encapsulating the access information into an NAS message or an EAP message; then, sending the NAS message or the EAP message to a control plane function entity CP; receiving network interface information sent by the CP; and sending the network interface information to the user terminal, so that the user terminal accesses a network. As can be learned from this solution, the user terminal is not limited by a protocol stack when accessing the network. Therefore, full services can be provided by deploying only one core network. This not only saves a resource but also facilitates network maintenance.
Abstract:
The present application discloses a method, device, and system for selecting a user plane functional entity supporting non-3GPP access ensure service continuity. When a user equipment (UE) performs access via a 3GPP network, subscription data of the UE are obtained by a CP functional entity. The subscription data include indication information that indicates whether the UE is allowed to connect to a non-3GPP network. If the indication information indicates that the UE is allowed to connect to the non-3GPP network, a target UP functional entity supporting the non-3GPP access is selected by the CP functional entity. The present application is applicable to the field of communications technologies.
Abstract:
A method and device for obtaining a user equipment identifier and a method and device for sending user equipment identifier are provided, and relate to the field of wireless communications technologies, to resolve a problem that a user equipment identifier cannot be obtained after UE accesses a core network from a non-3GPP side. The method for obtaining a user equipment identifier includes: after UE accesses a core network from a non-3GPP side, sending, by a network side device, a user equipment identifier obtaining request to the UE; and receiving a user equipment identifier sent by the UE.
Abstract:
The present disclosure describes a network status information transfer method. In one example method, a first message, transmitted by a third-party server to a user equipment (UE), is received by the UE. The first message comprises an identifier, associated with a trusted wireless local area networks (WLAN) network (TWAN), and first indication information indicating that a packet data network gateway (PGW) is overloaded. If the UE has added the identifier associated with the TWAN to a blacklist, the identifier associated with the TWAN is deleted, by the UE, from the blacklist in response to receiving the first message.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an offloading policy negotiation method and apparatus, so as to resolve problems in the prior art that a method for initiating data flow switching by UE has low applicability, and that a network side cannot control and manage the UE, and that user experience is reduced. The method includes: sending, by a first device, an offloading policy to a second device, where the offloading policy includes a default access indication and a routing rule; and receiving and storing, by the first device, an acknowledged offloading policy returned for the offloading policy by the second device, and transmitting a data flow based on the acknowledged offloading policy.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, and a method for online subscription data configuration. This method for online subscription data configuration includes: acquiring, by a subscription data configuration function device (SMF), equipment capability information of a user equipment (UE) and information of a service supported by the UE; generating, by the SMF, user subscription data according to the equipment capability information of the UE and the information of service supported by the UE, and generating user service subscription data according to the information of the service supported by the UE; where the user subscription data and the user service subscription data include an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) allocated to the UE by the SMF; performing, by the SMF, subscription data configuration on a home subscriber server (HSS) and a subscription profile repository (SPR), according to the user subscription data and the user service subscription data.
