The method includes: obtaining, by the local control plane device, context information of the user equipment from the remote control plane device according to an interaction process between the user equipment and the remote control plane device; and setting up, by the local control plane device according to the context information of the user equipment, a radio bearer between the user equipment and a base station in which a current camping cell of the user equipment is located.

    Abstract: This application provides an information transmission method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: A sensing network element receives location information of a first area from a first network element. The sensing network element receives first sensing data from a first device, where a sensing area corresponding to the first sensing data includes the first area, and the first device is configured to perform sensing. The sensing network element determines first information based on the location information of the first area and the first sensing data, where the first information indicates that a first terminal device is located in the first area. The sensing network element sends the first information to the first network element. Therefore, whether a terminal device is in the first area may be determined based on sensing data. This reduces signaling overheads.

    Abstract: This application provide a MEC-based positioning method, a device, and a wireless communication system. The method includes: A first network element receives first positioning request information for requesting to position a terminal, and the first positioning request information carries identification information of the terminal. The first network element determines, based on the first positioning request information, a positioning functional entity for positioning the terminal, where the positioning functional entity is a positioning server. The first network element obtains second positioning request information based on the first positioning request information, and sends the second positioning request information to the positioning server. After receiving the second positioning request information, the positioning server sends measurement request information to the terminal via a user plane, to request the terminal to report measurement data. Then, the positioning server positions the terminal based on the measurement data reported by the terminal via the user plane.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods, apparatus, and systems. In one example method, a network slice selection network element sends identification information of a first slice to a mobility management network element. The network slice selection network element receives a slice authentication result corresponding to the first slice from the mobility management network element. If the slice authentication result corresponding to the first slice indicates that slice authentication succeeds, the network slice selection network element performs user counting on the first slice. The network slice selection network element determines, based on a user counting result corresponding to the first slice, whether to allow a terminal device to access the first slice.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an AMBR control method, device, and system, so that a quality of service (QoS) control mechanism can be used to control use of resources in a network slice by a terminal device. The method includes: when determining that a network slice that was not supported by a PLMN is updated to be supported by the PLMN, sending, by a network slice selection network element, a notification message to a communications network element, where the notification message is used to indicate that the PLMN supports the network slice; and notifying, by the communications network element, a terminal that the PLMN currently supports the network slice. In this way, the corresponding terminal learns that the PLMN currently supports the network slice.
