Abstract:
The present invention herein provides syrup extracted from red shiso and having a clear red color. The method comprises the following steps: (1) draining water after blanching raw red shiso; (2) extracting, with water, the blanched red shiso while applying heat; and (3) adding an acid to the extract of the red shiso.
Abstract:
A web containing comprising side-by-side or eccentric core/shell conjugate short fibers A, which contain two kinds of polyester different from each other in intrinsic viscosity, and elastic conjugate fibers B, which contain a thermoplastic elastomer having a melting point lower by 40° C. or more than the two kinds of polyester, and a nonelastic polyester, with at least the thermoplastic elastomer being exposed on a surface of the fibers, is subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer, so as to obtain a polyester elastic fiber structure, and then polyester woven or knitted fabrics are laminated adhered on both surfaces of the polyester elastic fiber structure with a polyester adhesive, followed by heat molding into a curved shape by a molding process depending on necessity, so as to obtain a-composite fiber structure.
Abstract:
A piecing method for a spinning machine wherein, following stoppage of the spinning operations, after cutting the sliver (S) between the usually rotating draft rollers (13) and the stopped draft rollers (12) and before the restarting of drafting and spinning, the sliver (S) is once again cut between the usually rotating draft rollers (13) and the stopped draft rollers (12) by driving the stopped draft rollers (12) for a predetermined period of time and then stopping again, thus sliver (S) is supplied to the twisting part (2) by then driving the stopped draft rollers (12). Therefore, not only can the sliver fiber density of the sliver end supplied to the piecing area during piecing be increased, but that length of the tip of the sliver can also be shortened. Accordingly, the strength of the piecing part is increased and the length of the piecing part can be shortened.
Abstract:
An automatic feeding apparatus for aquatic life comprising a cultivating device 20 for cultivating the aquatic life 10, and a feeding device 80 for supplying food, which further comprises an image acquisition device 40A for taking an image of wave forms at surface of water 30 in the cultivating device, an image processing device 50 for processing the image to a binary image, an activity calculating device 60 for calculating a value indicating the activity of the aquatic life by calculating a total number and/or a total area of the wave forms based on the binary image, a feeding amount control device 70 for controlling feeding amount and feeding time of the feeding device based on the value, and a device 110 , 40B for adjusting the feeding amount based on cultivation environment and/or number and size of the aquatic life.
Abstract:
A document feeding device including a compact document feeder unit designed primarily for dealing with document sheets of small or standard size and a platen cover unit is disposed on a platen of a copying machine or the like. A small-size document sheet is fed in the forward direction when being supplied onto and discharged from the platen. In a case of handling a large-size document sheet, the sheet is moved backward after being completely introduced into between the feeder unit and platen so as to enter into between the platen cover unit and the platen, and then discharged by being moved forward after copying. Thus, the large-size document sheet can be dealt with similarly to the small-size document sheet by the document feeder unit made compact.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an air conditioning control system is connected to a camera device, which is installed in an interior as an inside of a room and an air conditioning control target, and to an air conditioner that performs air conditioning for the interior as the air conditioning target, the air conditioning control system includes: an activity amount calculation unit; a current comfort index value calculation unit; a control parameter calculation unit; and an air conditioner control unit. The activity amount calculation unit acquires and analyzes image information formed by imaging the interior as the air conditioning control target from the camera device, and calculates an activity amount of a person present in the room based on the image information. The current comfort index value calculation unit calculates a current comfort index value of the person present in the room based on the activity amount. The control parameter calculation unit calculates a control parameter regarding an operation of the air conditioner based on the current comfort index value. The air conditioner control unit controls the operation of the air conditioner based on the control parameter.
Abstract:
A trimming apparatus trims by cutter blades running from one end of a sheet bundle to the other end thereof, includes a bed surface for the sheet bundle, cutter blades for cutting the sheet bundle supported on the bed surface, a drive device for running the cutting blades from one end of the sheet bundle to the other end thereof, a support member having a support face, and a shift device for moving the support member between a working position for the support member supporting cut sheet dust pieces and a retreating position not to hinder the cut sheet dust pieces from dropping. The shift device displaces the support face from the working position to a retreating position after the cutter blades move at a predetermined distance toward the other end of the sheet bundle from one end thereof.
Abstract:
The colorimetric values of a plurality of reference color patches formed on a specific medium are measured at a plurality of temperatures, and a temperature characteristic LUT in a colorimetric value temperature correction unit is created based on the colorimetric values. Upon creating a calibration LUT, a patch based on arbitrary device values is formed on the medium, and a patch temperature and colorimetric values are acquired immediately after fixing of that patch. A correction target temperature as a temperature upon observation of the medium is, for example, fixed, the colorimetric values are corrected by interpolation processing based on the temperature characteristic LUT to obtain colorimetric values, and a calibration LUT is created based on the colorimetric values.
Abstract:
In a tracking system for tracking a moving object by using a particle filter, the particle filter is configured to arrange particles initially, in a standby state, in a given background region provided in the screen of a camera and to rearrange the particles with respect to the moving object in accordance with a change in likelihood that the object has with respect to the particles.
