摘要: A yarn-forming element is provided for a roving machine that produces a roving from a fiber structure using compressed air. The yarn-forming element includes an intake opening for fibers of the fiber structure, an outlet for emergence of the roving produced from the fiber structure, and a draw-off channel that connects the intake opening and the outlet. A front end surrounding the intake opening is formed as a first truncated cone in at least some sections thereof. The first truncated cone includes a larger base surface and a smaller opposite cover surface that is adjacent the draw-off channel. An angle (a) between a lateral line of the first truncated cone and an axis of the first truncated cone is less than 90° and greater than 70°.

摘要: A yarn producing apparatus that produces high-density carbon nanotube yarn at high speed. The yarn producing apparatus includes: a substrate support supporting a carbon nanotube (CNT) forming substrate; a winding device configured to continuously draw CNT fibers from the CNT forming substrate supported on the substrate support and to allow the CNT fibers to run; and a yarn producing unit provided between the substrate support and the winding device to directly take in the CNT fibers drawn by the winding device and twist the taken-in CNT fibers. The yarn producing unit false-twists the CNT fibers with a swirl flow of compressed air.

摘要: A method and system for operating an air jet spinning machine, that features at least one spinning unit with one spinning nozzle for producing a yarn. During normal operation of the spinning unit, a fiber composite is fed to the spinning nozzle through an inlet and in a predefined transport direction. The fiber composite within a vortex chamber of the spinning nozzle receives a twist with the assistance of a vortex air flow, such that a yarn is formed from the fiber composite, which leaves the spinning nozzle through an outlet. After an interruption in yarn production, a piecing process is carried out, with which one yarn end on the spool side moves counter to the transport direction through the spinning nozzle, is overlaid with one end of the fiber composite after passing through the spinning nozzle and, together with this, is brought through the inlet into the spinning nozzle. After conclusion of the piecing process, the production of yarn is continued through the resumption of normal operation. During the piecing process, at least temporarily, additive is applied at the end of the fiber composite.

摘要: A spinning unit is provided for an air jet spinning machine with a spinning nozzle used to manufacture yarn from a fiber strand. The spinning nozzle has an inlet for the fiber strand, a vortex chamber, a yarn forming element protruding into the vortex chamber, and a draw-off channel for the yarn. An additive supply is assigned to the spinning nozzle and designed so that the spinning nozzle is supplied with an additive. The yarn forming element has at least one additive duct that ends in the vortex chamber or the draw-off channel. The additive supply encompasses an additive supply line connected to the additive duct so that an additive introduced into the additive duct via the additive supply line can be introduced into the draw-off channel and/or the vortex chamber. A process for operating an air jet spinning machine with at least one spinning unit is provided. An additive is added, at least intermittently, to the spinning nozzle of the spinning unit while it is operating with the help of an additive supply. The added additive is delivered through an additive duct of the yarn forming element to the draw-off channel and/or the vortex chamber.

A textile machine, in particular a spinning or a winding machine, features multiple similar workstations, in each case with a thread delivery device for delivering a thread (7) to a coil (12), a thread traversing device for laying the thread (7) on the coil (12), a winding device for winding the thread (7) on the coil (12) and a suction nozzle (4) for finding a thread end wound on the coil (12), whereas the suction nozzle (4) features an opening turned towards the coil circumference that serves as an extraction mouth (10) for sucking in the thread end. The suction nozzle (4) features an additional opening serving as an inlet mouth (9) for the thread (7), and the thread (7) runs through the suction nozzle (4) during the delivery to the coil (12), whereas it enters the suction nozzle (4) through the inlet mouth (9), and exits the suction nozzle (4) through another opening, in particular the extraction mouth (10).
