A coaxial drive apparatus for multidirectional control, including: a housing; a stage pivotally installed in the housing, with the object laid on the stage; a rotary shaft connected to the stage and rotated to cause the stage to pivot; a rotation transmitting unit transmitting a rotating force of the rotary shaft to the stage; a sliding pipe coaxially fitted over the rotary shaft so as to be moved along a lengthwise direction of the rotary shaft or to be rotated on a central axis of the rotary shaft; a moving unit moving the object laid on the stage in the lengthwise direction of the rotary shaft according to a movement of the sliding pipe, and moving the object in a transverse direction of the rotary shaft according to a rotation of the sliding pipe; and a controller providing a driving force to the rotary shaft and to the sliding pipe.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an repebody capable of binding specifically to interleukin-6 (IL-6) to inhibit the biological activity of IL-6, a polynucleotide encoding the repebody, a vector comprising the polynucleotide, a recombinant microorganism having introduced therein the polynucleotide or the vector, a method of producing the repebody using the recombinant microorganism, a composition for preventing or treating cancer, which comprises the repebody, and a method for preventing or treating cancer, which comprises administering the composition for preventing or treating cancer, which comprises the repebody. The repebody of the present invention significantly reduces the activity of STAT3 and the concentration of interleukin-6, and thus can be widely used as an agent for preventing or treating IL-6-related diseases.
Abstract:
A method for preparing hydrophobic gold nanoparticles includes adding 1,2-dichlorobenzene as a solvent to gold precursor and using oleylamine and oleic acid with volume ratio of 7.5:2.5 to 5:5 as surfactants. The size of the prepared gold nanoparticles can be controlled over a broad range and may be utilized in various fields such as bio-imaging, photonic crystallization, sensors, organic catalysts, surface enhanced raman spectrum, electronic devices, etc. Further, a method for colorimetric detection of a strong acid uses hydrophilic nanoparticles that are phase transited from the prepared hydrophobic gold nanoparticles. Up to 5 ppm of low content hydrochloric acid can be detected utilizing phase transited hydrophilic nanoparticles in the colorimetric detection method, and the gold nanoparticles that were used in the detection of strong acid can be reused without loss of activity through neutralization with bases.
Abstract:
An ion trap mass spectrometer is provided, including: an electron emitter; an ion trap storing ions generated by ionization resulting from an impact with electrons emitted from the electron emitter; a secondary ion filter for blocking out secondary ions generated due to ions selectively released by the ion trap; and a detector detecting ions selectively released from the ion trap, wherein the electron emitter, the ion trap, the secondary ion filter, and the ion detector are arranged on the same axis, so that a pure mass spectrum can be measured by excluding the secondary ions which are causes of background noise signals in the procedure of detection of the ions by the ion trap mass spectrometer.
Abstract:
A method for diagnosing cancer using information on aberrant glycosylation of glycoproteins, which is related with cancer progression. More particularly, the present invention relates to a peptide marker for cancer diagnosis and a method for diagnosing cancer using the peptide marker, wherein glycoproteins aberrantly glycosylated due to cancer incidence and progression is isolated using lectin; and marker peptides generated by hydrolysis or the glycoproteins isolated by the lectin is selected and quantified.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an anode active material for a sodium secondary battery, which has a layered crystal structure and is formed of nanoplatelets containing iron oxide having organic anions, and in which the nanoplatelets are provided in plural numbers and formed in a stacking structure spaced apart at a first interval.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a biomarker for diagnosis of oral cancer, using metabolite profiling and, more specifically, to a biomarker composition containing an acyl carnitine metabolite which varies in quantity upon the onset of oral cancer, and a diagnostic method for oral cancer, using same. The present disclosure allows for the early diagnosis of oral cancer which has been conventionally difficult to diagnose due to the impossible tissue biopsy thereof, and can reduce the pain and risk burden of patients because it uses a liquid biopsy method in which a blood sample is collected and analyzed.
