Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a biomarker for diagnosis of oral cancer, using metabolite profiling and, more specifically, to a biomarker composition containing an acyl carnitine metabolite which varies in quantity upon the onset of oral cancer, and a diagnostic method for oral cancer, using same. The present disclosure allows for the early diagnosis of oral cancer which has been conventionally difficult to diagnose due to the impossible tissue biopsy thereof, and can reduce the pain and risk burden of patients because it uses a liquid biopsy method in which a blood sample is collected and analyzed.
