摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus has an ink jet head mounted for movement in a scanning direction to record on a surface of a recording medium using an active ray curing type ink. An active ray irradiation device is disposed adjacent to the ink jet head for irradiating an active ray to cure the ink on the surface of the recording medium. A plate is mounted to undergo movement in the scanning direction of the inkjet head for preventing an active ray from the active ray irradiation device and reflected by the platen from entering in ink discharge surface of the ink jet head. The plate is disposed adjacent to an end portion of the recording medium and in an arbitrary position between a surface lying substantially on the same plane as the surface of the recording medium and the ink discharge surface of the ink jet head. A plate position adjusting mechanism and a head position adjusting mechanism are provided for moving the plate and the ink jet head, respectively, in a direction orthogonal to the recording medium.

摘要: A battery pack has a charge and discharge count measuring part (131) configured to measure the number of times of charges and discharges of a secondary battery based on the summed value of the charge current for the secondary battery, and a decay rate output part (132) configured to compute a decay rate that indicates a degree of decay of the secondary battery based on the number of times of charges and discharges measured by the charge and discharge count measuring part (131) and to output it to a device being a discharge load. For example, the charge and discharge count measuring part (131) repeatedly sums the detected values of the charge current to a predetermined threshold, and counts up the number of times of charges and discharges every time when the summed value reaches the threshold. Accordingly, even though charges and discharges are repeated at finer steps in a relatively narrow voltage range, the number of times of charges and discharges can be counted accurately, and the computing accuracy of the decay rate is improved. In the battery pack in which the secondary battery is accommodated, parameters for detecting the remaining amount of the battery are detected more accurately.

摘要: A gas generating device of present invention is generated a first gas at a first carbon electrode by applying a voltage between said first carbon electrode and a second electrode to electrolyzing an electrolytic solution. The first carbon electrode is an anode or a cathode. The first carbon electrode is provided with a plurality of fine gas flow channels which selectively pass said first gas generated on one surface of said first carbon electrode to the other surface without allowing said electrolytic solution to permeate therethrough.
