    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information that indicates a non-active time for cell discontinuous reception and that indicates a quantity of repetitions for one of a physical uplink channel or signal. The UE may transmit one or more repetitions of the one of the physical uplink channel or signal in one or more transmission occasions outside of the non-active time. The UE may drop transmission of one or more repetitions of the one of the physical uplink channel or signal in one or more transmission occasions in the non-active time.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for securing physical (PHY) layers in wireless communication. Certain aspects are directed to a method for wireless communication by a base station (BS). In some examples, includes, by, a secured first index based at least in part on a first index and a first secret key, the first index corresponding to a first orthogonal cover code (OCC) for communication over at least a first channel between the BS and a user equipment (UE).
