    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may perform a first encoding operation on source packets that generates a first set of network coding encoded packets and may broadcast the first set of network coding encoded packets for reception by a plurality of receivers. The transmitter may receive feedback information associated with the first set of network coding encoded packets, the feedback information indicating that a first subset of network coding encoded packets were received by at least one of the plurality of receivers, the feedback information further indicating that one or more receivers of the plurality of receivers did not successfully recover all of the plurality of source packets. The transmitter may broadcast a second set of network coding encoded packets that does not include any of the first subset of network coding encoded packets. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform a random access procedure based on a dynamic physical random access channel (PRACH) configuration. The UE may determine a first PRACH configuration, for example, based on system information. The UE may determine a second PRACH configuration, for example, based on a dynamic configuration message. The UE may determine to follow the second PRACH configuration based on a current time or the dynamic configuration message. The UE may transmit a first message of a random access (RACH) procedure based on the second PRACH configuration.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for supporting network transmissions using unicast sidelink communications. A base station (BS) may transmit a set of encoded packets to a number of user equipment (UEs) and receive feedback messages from the UEs that indicate sets of decoded packets. Based on the feedback messages, the BS may transmit an updated set of encoded packets based on a difference between the set of encoded packets and the union of decoded packets. The BS may transmit an instruction to a first UE to transmit a unicast sidelink communication to a second UE that includes a set of missed packets that includes one or more decoded packets that were decoded by the first UE but were not decoded by the second UE. The first UE may transmit the unicast sidelink communication to the second UE.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and apparatus for encoding repetitions of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). In some aspects, the disclosed methods or techniques include first determining that a first number of REs of a first PUCCH repetition used for UCI transmission is different than a second number of REs of a second PUCCH repetition used for the UCI transmission. Based on the determination, the UE performs one or more actions to provide a same mother polar code length for generating coded bits for each of the first and second PUCCH repetitions. The UE performs polar code encoding of information bits of the UCI for the first PUCCH repetition and the second PUCCH repetition based on the same mother polar code length. The UE transmits the first and the second PUCCH repetitions including the respective polar-encoded UCI.
