Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a network entity indicating a set of cross-link interference measurement occasions and a set of receive beams associated with the set of cross-link interference measurement occasions. The UE may generate a cross-link interference report based on the control signaling and a trigger of a cross-link interference measurement. The cross-link interference report may indicate the cross-link interference measurement for at least one receive beam of the set of receive beams. The UE may transmit the cross-link interference report to the network entity.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication for a user equipment (UE) includes entering a dormancy period for a secondary cell group (SCG) of a base station (BS) during which no downlink (DL) data or control transmissions are received from the SCG; performing a channel state information (CSI) measurement on the SCG during the dormancy period to generate a measurement report; determining an uplink (UL) beam of a primary secondary cell (PSCELL) of the SCG; transmitting the measurement report to the BS on the UL beam of the SCG; and determining, during the dormancy period and after transmitting the measurement report, one or more downlink (DL) beams for communicating on the SCG based on one or more rules and based on the measurement report, wherein the one or more rules result in the BS determining the same one or more DL beams based on the measurement report.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for aggregating random access requests across two or more physical random access channel (PRACH) occasions. Poor channel quality may inhibit the receipt of random access requests, and for user equipments (UEs) located in areas with relatively poor coverage, such aggregated random access requests may have an increased likelihood of successful receipt at a base station. The base station may configure a number of PRACH occasions to be available for aggregation of random access requests. A UE may receive PRACH configuration information from the base station, may aggregate a random access request across two or more PRACH occasions using the PRACH configuration information, and may transmit the aggregated random access request via the PRACH occasions. The base station may also configure one or more PRACH occasions to have a smaller subcarrier spacing for transmission of a random access request.

Abstract: Aspects relate to configuration of a Layer 1 (L1) measurement report. A radio access network (RAN) node (e.g., a base station) can transmit at least one report setting, each associated with a selected information type, to a wireless communication device (e.g., a UE). The selected information type may be selected from a first information type and a second information type. When a report setting is associated with the first information type, the wireless communication device can transmit the L1 measurement report including both beam measurements and beam identifiers corresponding to the beam measurements for the report setting. When the report setting is associated with the second information type, the wireless communication device can exclude the beam identifiers from the L1 measurement report including the beam measurements for the report setting. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for autonomously updating a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with a reference signal of a non-serving cell according to a measurement report for the reference signal. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may measure the reference signal of the non-serving cell and, in line with the results of the measurement, may apply an update for the TCI state associated with the reference signal upon or after transmitting the measurement report to a serving cell and according to a rule for applying TCI state updates for non-serving cell reference signals. The rule for applying TCI state updates for non-serving cell reference signals may be known to the UE and the serving cell such that the UE and the serving cell maintain same knowledge of the associations between non-serving cell reference signals and TCI states.
