    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses to enable a user equipment (UE) and a base station to improve reception of a random access response (RAR) by the UE in an unlicensed spectrum. A network may define a procedure for calculating a random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) specific to unlicensed spectrum based on an extended RAR window. The calculation procedure may allow UEs transmitting in the window to calculate a unique RA-RNTI and identify a RAR addressed to the UE using the unique RA-RNTI. Additionally, or alternatively, a base station may transmit a RAR including timing information associated with a corresponding random access request. Accordingly, a UE may receive the RAR and compare the timing information with its own random access request in order to determine whether the RAR is addressed to the UE. Additionally, a UE may monitor a secondary cell or a sub-band for the RAR.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for a set of random access channel (RACH) procedure types for a bandwidth part of the UE, each RACH procedure type in the set of RACH procedure types being different from at least some if not all the other RACH procedure types in the set of RACH procedure types. The UE may select a RACH procedure type from the set of RACH procedure types for the RACH procedure based at least in part on the indication of the configuration for the set of RACH procedure types and on a trigger to perform a RACH procedure for a network slice. The UE may perform the RACH procedure for the network slice according to the RACH procedure type.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform a channel access procedure associated with a transmission of a sidelink communication that is to be associated with resources that are associated with a first configured grant configuration, wherein the channel access procedure is unsuccessful, wherein the sidelink communication is associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier, and wherein a state associated with the HARQ process identifier is changed to pending based on the channel access procedure being unsuccessful. The UE may transmit, based on successfully performing another channel access procedure, a retransmission of the sidelink communication using resources associated with the first configured grant configuration or a second configured grant configuration based on the state associated with the HARQ process identifier being changed to pending.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station as part of a wireless communications system. The UE may receive a downlink message from a base station. The UE may perform a decoding procedure for the received downlink message. The UE may determine the downlink message has a traffic type associated with a quality of service level. The UE may determine to transmit enhanced feedback with an acknowledgment message (positive or negative) indicating the result of the decoding procedure for the received downlink message, in cases where the downlink message is of the first traffic type. The enhanced feedback may indicate assistance information associated with a quality of service level for the received downlink message. The UE may then transmit the enhanced feedback for the acknowledgment message.
