Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling indicating a group of transmission configuration indicator states including a first subset associated with a first bandwidth part and a second subset associated with a common frequency resource. The UE may determine, based on the group of transmission configuration indicator states, a transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement indicating a first state list associated with the first bandwidth part and a second state list associated with the common frequency resource. The UE may select, based on the transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement, a transmission configuration indicator state sharing scheme or a transmission configuration indicator state separation scheme. The sharing scheme may include at least one transmission configuration indicator state that may be common between a unicast transmission configuration and a multicast transmission configuration.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of channel measurement resources (CMRs) that are configured for a group-based reference signal measurement for multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs). The UE may identify or determine whether a set of one or more directional beams used by the UE to measure reference signal transmissions from each of the multiple TRPs satisfy a threshold directivity gain. The UE may transmit a request to enable a scheduling restriction at the UE for a time period associated with the group-based reference signal measurement if the set of directional beams fail to satisfy the threshold directivity gain and may transmit a request to disable the scheduling restriction if the set of directional beams satisfy the threshold directivity gain.

A network node may transmit a control message to one or more user equipment (UEs) that identifies that multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) signals from the network node include one or more private messages for a UE and one or more common messages for a UE and at least one other UE. The network node may transmit an additional control message that identifies a first phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port for the one or more private messages and a second PTRS port for the one or more common messages, where the PTRS ports may be the same or different. Then, the network node may transmit the private messages using the first PTRS port and the common messages using the second PTRS port.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, first control signaling indicating a single frequency network (SFN) configuration associated with a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource of an SRS resource set, where the SFN configuration indicates multiple sets of transmission parameters for SFN transmissions associated with the first SRS resource. A user equipment (UE) may determine that a base station has scheduled the UE for one or more downlink transmissions, each of the one or more downlink transmissions having an associated repetition factor that corresponds to one of a plurality of configured repetition factors configured at the UE. The UE may identify an applied repetition factor to apply to feedback codebook generation for the one or more downlink transmissions. The UE may generate a feedback codebook for reporting feedback for the one or more downlink transmissions, the feedback codebook populated based at least in part on the applied repetition factor and on whether the one or more downlink transmissions were successfully received and decoded. The UE may transmit to the base station a feedback report that includes the feedback codebook.

The feedback message may include a first quantity of feedback bits for the first transport block and a second quantity of feedback bits for the second transport block, where the first quantity of feedback bits is different from the second quantity of feedback bits.

Abstract: In operation, the UE in the cell (SpCell/SCell) may be configured to operate with beam group specific BFRs, cell-level BFRs, or combinations of them under a beam failure configuration that is determined according to various rules. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) and a UE is disclosed. The method includes determining a beam failure configuration for a serving cell, the beam failure configuration including at least one of a beam failure parameter of a beam group or a beam failure parameter of a cell; and detecting, in the serving cell based at least in part on the beam failure configuration, a beam failure recovery (BFR) based at least in part on the beam failure configuration. The beam failure configuration is determined based on various rules that control the operation of the BFR.

Abstract: A phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) may be transmitted to enable a receiver to correct phase noise in wireless communication. A UE scheduled for one PDSCH with DMRS ports in two or more DMRS CDM groups that are associated with two TCI states may be configured for PT-RS using two PT-RS ports. Therefore, rather than limiting PT-RS to a single port, the PT-RS may be transmitted to the UE using two PT-RS ports. The apparatus transmits a capability indication for more than one PT-RS port for receiving a downlink shared channel based on a first TCI and a second TCI. The apparatus receives a configuration for a maximum number of downlink PT-RS ports from a base station.
