Abstract: For responding to a notification displayed in an Always on Display (“AoD”) mode with a voice command, a method displays notifications in at least one of a full power mode or an AoD mode, parses a notification to determine a notification type. The method also determines, while in the AoD mode, if the notification supports voice responses. If the notification supports voice response, the method receives a voice command from a user and authorizes the user based on the voice command, bypasses a screen lock, in response to the user being authorized, and executes the voice command.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for detection of a spear-phishing phone call. Responsive to an individual receiving a phone call, a determination is made as to whether the phone call has one or more identifiable traits from a set of identifiable traits that are identified as being associated with spear-phishing. Responsive to identifying that the phone call has one or more identifiable traits from the set of identifiable traits that are identified as being associated with spear-phishing, an associated weighted risk value for each of the identified traits associated with the phone call is identified from the set of identifiable traits. A total risk value is calculated using each weighted risk value associated with each identified trait associated with the phone call. Responsive to the total risk value exceeding a predetermined risk value, the individual is notified of the total risk value to enable the individual to take an appropriate action based on the total risk value.

Abstract: A method and system in which a transcription of multi-party communication is provided. A plurality of speakers are recorded using any of a variety of recording devices. A copy of the recording is processed through a diarisation process to create a final diarisation product and a second copy of the recording is processed through a transcription process to create a final transcription product. The final diarisation product is used to differentiate individual speakers of the plurality of speakers in a final transcript. The final transcript and audio samples of each of the voice prints identified through the diarisation process are presented to a reviewer to determine the identity of each of the differentiated individual speakers. The identity of the each of the differentiated individual speakers is then inserted into the final transcript.

Abstract: A computer detects a connected voice or video call between participants and records a brief media sample. Speech recognition is utilized to determine when the call is connected as well as to transcribe the content of the audio portion of the media sample. The recorded media sample and transcribed content is associated with the connected voice or video call such that a user may reference it at a later point. The computer additionally suggests creating or editing contact information associated with the participants of the connected voice or video call based on the transcribed content.

Abstract: Inbound call processing systems and methods for processing inbound calls to controlled-environment facility resident media and/or communications devices employ an inbound resident call server configured to host inbound calling accounts established by non-residents, receive inbound calls from the non-residents, route the inbound calls to an authenticating server, confirm that the resident device is active, and connect the inbound resident call system with the resident device if active or inform the non-resident the resident is not available if not. The inbound resident call server also connects the non-resident inbound call with the resident device if the non-resident is associated with the inbound calling account, the inbound calling account is associated with an address identifier of the resident device and the resident's personal identification number is associated with the address identifier of the resident device, all of which may be authenticated by the authenticating server.

Abstract: The overall performance and power utilization of an audio device may be improved with an adaptive sidetone generation system that generates sidetones optimized for different application-specific problems. In particular, systems that include sidetone generation capabilities may be developed to include numerous microphones from which information may be received and processed to generate optimized sidetones. For example, the information from the microphones may be used to receive and/or determine the audio device's operating mode. The information from the microphones and the received and/or determined mode may then be used to generate a sidetone that is optimized for the particular mode and particular conditions in which the audio device is operating. Through the generation of optimized sidetones, the audio signal quality may be improved, thus reducing the amount of subsequent audio processing required, and resulting in improved performance and power utilization.
