Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first configuration for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource set, the first configuration associated with a first configured number of symbols for a PUCCH. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of a number of symbols to be used for transmitting the PUCCH, the indicated number of symbols being different from the first configured number of symbols. The UE may transmit the PUCCH using the indicated number of symbols. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: An apparatus, e.g., a UE, for resolution of conflicts between HD and FD configurations is disclosed. The UE receives a configuration indicating that a first set of symbols is configured for HD communication with at least one of D symbols, U symbols, or F symbols in which the F symbols are configured as D or U. The UE receives DCI scheduling FD communication including an FD transmission and an FD reception on a second set of symbols. The second set of symbols have a third set of symbols in common with the first set of symbols. The third set of symbols have conflicting HD and FD configurations. The UE cancels, based on the conflicting HD and FD configurations of the third set of symbols, at least one of the FD transmission or the FD reception in the third set of symbols.

Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a first configuration for scheduling in a first cell having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), wherein the first configuration is associated with a first search space in the first cell. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, a second configuration for scheduling in the first cell, wherein the second configuration is associated with a second search space in a second cell, and wherein the second cell is associated with a different second SCS. The method further includes determining a number of blind detections (BDs) based on at least one of the first SCS or the second SCS, and monitoring, based on the number of BDs, for downlink control information (DCI) in the first and second search spaces.

Abstract: In operation, the UE in the cell (SpCell/SCell) may be configured to operate with beam group specific BFRs, cell-level BFRs, or combinations of them under a beam failure configuration that is determined according to various rules. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) and a UE is disclosed. The method includes determining a beam failure configuration for a serving cell, the beam failure configuration including at least one of a beam failure parameter of a beam group or a beam failure parameter of a cell; and detecting, in the serving cell based at least in part on the beam failure configuration, a beam failure recovery (BFR) based at least in part on the beam failure configuration. The beam failure configuration is determined based on various rules that control the operation of the BFR.
