    Abstract: A method for transmitting and receiving a signal related to switching 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access to a 5th generation system (5GS) in an evolved packet system (EPS) in a wireless communication system includes: a step in which a second access and mobility management function (AMF) receives a message, related to a registration request and including a first 5G globally unique temporary identifier (5G-GUTI), from a UE that receives non-3GPP access service through the 5GS and 3GPP access service through the EPS; and a step in which the second AMF transmits to the UE, a message related to a registration acceptance and including a second 5G-GUTI. The first 5G-GUTI includes ID information on the first AMF which serves the non-3GPP access of the UE, and the second 5G-GUTI includes ID information on the second AMF which serves both the non-3GPP access and the 3GPP access of the UE.

    Abstract: It is disclosed a method for managing a PDU session in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for supporting the same. Particularly, a method for performing handover of a User Equipment (UE) performed by a source Radio Access Network (RAN) that includes a processor, a memory and a communication module in a wireless communication system may include determining to initiate handover to a target RAN; and transmitting a Handover Required message to a source Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), and the handover is a handover in a case that there is no interface between the RANs or AMF change is required, and the Handover Required message includes a PDU session Identifier (ID) of an activated Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session.

    Abstract: One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing, by relay UE, communication related to PS Data Off. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving a direct communication request message from remote UE, wherein the direct communication request message includes PS Data Off status information of the remote UE; determining whether or not to establish a protocol data unit (PDU) session for the remote UE, on the basis of the PS Data Off status information of the remote UE; and transmitting a PDU session establishment request message to a network node, on the basis of the determination to the establishing of the PDU session for the remote UE.

The method may comprise the steps of: an AMF node receiving a request for transmission of the SM signal from an SMF node, the request comprising information about an access network to transmit the SM signal; the AMF node determining an access network to transmit the SM signal to the terminal on the basis of information about the access network; and if the terminal is connected to the AMF node via the determined access network, the AMF node transmitting the SM signal to the terminal via the determined access network.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques for handling a protocol data unit (PDU) session by a wireless device implementing an access stratum (AS) layer and a non-access stratum (NAS) layer in a wireless communication system. An example technique includes determining, by the AS layer of the wireless device, whether a user plane for the PDU session is activated or released; transferring, by the AS layer and to the NAS layer of the wireless device based on a determination that the user plane for the PDU session is activated, first information indicating that the user plane for the PDU session is activated; and transferring, by the AS layer and to the NAS layer of the wireless device based on a determination that the user plane for the PDU session is released, second information indicating that the user plane for the PDU session is released.

    Abstract: A signal transmission and reception method by a session management function (SMF) in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: the SMF determining whether or not a protocol data unit (PDU) session is to be activated; and the SMF transmitting a message comprising a session management (SM) message to an access and mobility management function (AMF). The PDU session is a PDU session which should be activated by means of a user equipment (UE) which received the SM message. The message comprising the SM message comprises information for activating the PDU session by means of the AMF.
