    Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor element, a substrate, and a plurality of wires. The semiconductor element has a plurality of electrodes on a first surface. The substrate has an element mount portion to which a second surface of the semiconductor element is joined through a solder joining material, a plurality of bonding portions disposed on a periphery of the element mount portion and spaced apart from each other, and a solder absorption portion extending outwardly from the element mount portion to receive a surplus of the solder joining material and being electrically independent of the plurality of bonding portions. The wires connect the electrodes and the bonding portions. The element mount portion and the solder absorption portion have a higher solder wettability than another portion of the substrate.

    Abstract: A blind spot display device displays an image of blind spot blocked by an obstacle, and includes an incidence surface, a light guide member, a first reflecting surface closed to a display region, a second reflecting surface close to the blind spot, and multiple prism portions protruding toward the display region. An external environment light beam enters the incidence surface, reflects alternately on the first and second reflecting surface while passing through the light guide member, and emits toward the display region through the prism portions. Apexes of the prism portions are arranged in a three dimensional manner not along a plane.

    Abstract: A semiconductor device has a cell region formed with a semiconductor element and an outer peripheral region surrounding the cell region. The outer peripheral region includes a guard ring part having a plurality of guard rings of the second conductivity-type, and a plurality of guard ring column regions of the second conductivity-type. Each of the guard rings is disposed in a surface layer portion of the drift layer and has a frame shape surrounding the cell region. The guard ring column regions are extended from the guard rings toward the substrate. Each of the guard ring column regions has a width smaller than a width of each of the guard rings in a direction along a planar direction of the substrate in a predetermined cross-section defined along the cell region and the outer peripheral region.     Abstract: A light guide member includes an incident portion, an emission portion, a reflection portion, and an inclined portion. An internal reflection angle inside the reflection portion and the emission portion is larger than an incident angle of an external light with respect to a first normal line that is a normal line of the emission portion. A first inclination angle that is an inclination angle of the incident portion with respect to the first normal line is smaller than the internal reflection angle. A height from the emission portion to a second side of the incident portion is larger than a distance between the emission portion and the reflection portion. A second inclination angle that is an inclination angle of the inclined portion with respect to the first normal line is smaller than the internal reflection angle.
