    摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems supporting coexistence of wireless transmission equipment in shared wireless medium environments. The techniques provided herein may be applied to various types of wireless transmission equipment. Under one example, a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) delivers power to wireless power receiver clients via transmission of wireless power signals using one or more frequencies and/or channels within shared wireless medium environments in which other wireless equipment is operating, such as access points and stations in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The WPTS is configured to co-exist with the operations of the other wireless equipment within the shared wireless medium environment by adapting its transmission operations to utilize frequencies or channels that do not interfere with other equipment and/or implementing co-channel and shared channels operations under which access to channels is implemented using standardized WLAN protocols such as PHY and MAC protocols used for 802.11 (Wi-Fi™) networks.

    摘要: A first communication device transmits a first physical layer protocol data units (PPDU) that includes a first null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame as part of a first ranging measurement exchange. The first communication device transmits a first null data packet (NDP) as part of the first ranging measurement exchange, and records a transmit time of the first NDP. The first communication device determines whether a second NDP was received correctly from a second communication device as part of the first ranging measurement exchange. In response to determining that the second NDP was not received correctly, the first communication device commences a second ranging measurement exchange, including transmitting a second PPDU that includes a second NDPA frame as part of the second ranging measurement exchange.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a simple data transmission protocol and a data receiving device (10, 10′, 10″, 10′″) for a power over Ethernet system (100′) using the simple data transmission protocol. The device (10, 10′, 10″, 10′″) comprises a port and a simple logic unit. The port is configured for receiving power and data transmitted to the device (10, 10′, 10″, 10′″) via an Ethernet connection (16′). The simple logic unit is configured to decode data encoded in a characteristic of one or more data packets received at the port. The data can be encoded in data packet length, data packet duration, number of data packets in a predetermined interval, and/or sequence of data packets. The simple data transmission protocol can reduce power consumption as in contrast to the Ethernet protocol MAC does not need to be decoded for information transfer. Hence only simple logic functions are required.
