Abstract: The inventive concept provides a substrate treating apparatus. According to an embodiment, the substrate treating apparatus may include a liquid supply unit that supplies a treatment liquid onto a to-be-treated surface of the substrate, and the liquid supply unit may include a support shaft spaced apart from the spin chuck by a specific distance, and extending to have a specific length in a direction that is perpendicular to a ground surface, a nozzle support, one end of which is coupled to an upper end of the support shaft, and extending to have a specific length in a direction that is parallel to the ground surface, a nozzle installed at an opposite end of the nozzle support and that supplies the treatment liquid to the substrate, and a motion sensor that detects any one or more of a deflection, a distortion, and a vibration of the liquid supply unit.

Abstract: Systems and methods for an adjustable unloader control are provided. The adjustable unloader control may be used with a pressure washer system, or any other liquid container configured to dispense liquid. The system includes an adjustable pressure knob that restricts flow rate and pressure of the liquid from the container, as well as an accompanying pump. The adjustable pressure knob is preferably rotated 360 degrees or less, meaning that a user can move the system from a closed position to a fully opened position with a single rotation of the knob. This enables a user to quickly and easily activate or deactivate the flow of liquid from the pressure washer or other device. The knob may also be moved to intermediate positions between the fully opened and closed positions. The system may enable flow rates of approximately 2-4 gallons per minute, and pressures of between 40-3,500 pounds per square inch.

Abstract: By measuring a position of a spray gun relative to a physical surface to coat, using data on technical characteristics of the spray gun, like a spray cone the spray gun may produce and data on a coating fluid used, characteristics of a coating layer thus physically deposited may be reconstructed. With data being recording during the spray job, this is faster and more accurate than measuring layer thickness at various locations, either pre-determined or randomly. By determining flow characteristics in a spray cone and position of the spray cone relative to the surface over time and using a model of the spray cone, deposition of the layer of coating may be determined and the final layer, cured or uncured, may be reconstructed, including thickness.

Abstract: A gardening sprayer has a main body, an adjusting valve and an output unit. Both ends of the main body are respectively provided with an input portion and an output portion, a flow channel is provided between the input portion and the output portion, and a flow channel is connected between the input portion and the output portion through the periphery of the main body and is connected with the flow channel with a flow control aperture, so that the flow control aperture provides the adjusting valve for installation. The adjusting valve has a shaft bolt and a positioning sleeve which are put into the flow control aperture from two directions and then docked. Both of the shaft bolt and the positioning sleeve are provided with at least a sealing washer, and a blocking portion and the passing portion with a smaller diameter are formed on the shaft bolt.

Abstract: A device is disclosed that may include a housing configured to snap onto a wand of a fogging machine near the nozzle. In addition, the device may include a positioning ramp fixedly attached to the housing. The device may include a cradle configured to hold a flashlight fixedly attached to the positioning ramp. Moreover, the device may include where the positioning ramp is configured to aim the beam of the flashlight obliquely at the nozzle to illuminate the spray pattern of the air liquid mixture exiting the nozzle. Also, the device is further configured to allow real-time adjustment of the spray pattern and droplet size of the air liquid mixture. Further, the device may include the apparatus being removably attached to the wand such that it may be utilized on various wands.

Abstract: Various examples are related to exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) for building retrofits. In one example, a method includes sensing, by a robotic system, at least one characteristic of an exterior of a building and, in response to the at least one sensed characteristic, adjusting application of insulation or finish to the exterior by the robotic system. The robotic system can include a 3D-articulated robot or other suitable robot that applies the insulation or finish. The robotic system can include a turret or application head configured to sense the at least one characteristic of the building and apply the insulation or finish to the exterior.
