摘要: A method for producing powderized cannabis oil, and the resulting powderized cannabis oil, in which concentrated cannabis oil is mixed with and absorbed by a modified starch powder, preferably maltodextrin, in a ratio of at least three grams of starch powder for every one-eighth of a gram of cannabis oil is disclosed. Further disclosed are beverages, baked goods and single-serve beverage brewing cartridges utilizing or incorporating the powderized cannabis oil to create human-consumable products that contain an emulsified, tasteless, and odorless dose of cannabis oil.

摘要: A non-hydrogenated fat composition comprises: from 3.2% to 10% by weight of total caprylic acid (C8:0) and capric acid (C10:0); from 13% to 32% by weight lauric acid; and from 20% to 45% by weight stearic acid (C18:0) fatty acid residues; the percentages of acids referring to acids bound as acyl groups in glycerides in the fat composition and being based on the total weight of C8 to C24 fatty acids; and from 7% to 15% by weight CN46 triglycerides; from 4% to 30% by weight CN54 triglycerides; and from 15% to 28% by weight of total CN42 triglycerides and CN44 triglycerides; the percentages of triglycerides referring to the total triglycerides present in the composition.

摘要: A solid product composition includes at least one salt of a cation derived from lysine with an anion derived from a polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid. The solid product composition is formed by (i) providing a starting composition containing at least one polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid component; (ii) providing a lysine composition; and (iii) admixing an aqueous, an aqueous-alcoholic or an alcoholic solution of starting composition and lysine composition, and subjecting resulting admixture to spray drying conditions subsequently, thus forming the solid product composition containing at least one salt of a cation derived from lysine with an anion derived from a polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid.

摘要: The present invention is an apparatus comprising a disposable frying oil filter and a filter securing element, and a method of using the same. The disposable filter is adapted to cover the sides and base of a fryer basket and allow oil to pass though at a substantially similar rate to a filterless fryer basket, while trapping virtually all small particles released from a cookable item. The filter securing device is preferably a frame attached to the fryer basket, and is adapted to hold the disposable filter in place and allow for easy replacement when the disposable filter becomes saturated with small particles.

摘要: A highly unsaturated fatty acid or a highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester that has been produced using as a feedstock oil a fat or oil that contains highly unsaturated fatty acids as constituent fatty acids and which has been reduced in the contents of environmental pollutants, wherein among the dioxins contained, polychlorinated dibenzoparadioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) are contained in amounts of less than 0.05 pg-TEQ/g and coplanar PCBs (Co-PCBs) in amounts of less than 0.03 pg-TEQ/g. Also disclosed is a method for producing the highly unsaturated fatty acid or highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester by the steps of removing free fatty acids and environmental pollutants by thin-film distillation from a feedstock oil, ethyl esterifying the resulting fat or oil, and refining the same by rectification and column chromatography.
