    Abstract: Provided is a slurry dispensing apparatus for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and more particularly, a slurry dispensing apparatus for EMI shielding, wherein the slurry dispensing apparatus dispenses a slurry, in which a conductive metal powder and an adhesive are mixed, to an electronic component to form an electromagnetic wave shielding layer on the electronic component.By using the slurry dispensing apparatus for EMI shielding, the slurry may be dispensed while preventing separation of the metal powder included in the slurry from the adhesive by precipitation, and maintaining a uniform mixture ratio in the slurry.

    Abstract: A hot melt adhesive supply system is disclosed. The hot melt adhesive supply system includes an outer container defining an upper cavity and a lower cavity. The upper cavity includes an inner container having a top opening to receive unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces and a bottom aperture. The system also includes a dispensing mechanism between the upper cavity and the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism regulates the dispensing of the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the upper cavity to the lower cavity. The dispensing mechanism includes a base plate and one or more rotating members that rotate to move the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces through a gap defined between the base plate and the bottom aperture. The system also includes a transfer conduit that communicates the unmelted hot melt adhesive pieces from the lower cavity to a hot melt adhesive melter.

    Abstract: A screed box includes a screed bucket, a screed plate mount attached to the screed bucket, a screed plate slidably connected to the screed plate mount and a screed bar attached to a bottom of the screed bucket. The screed plate mount includes a sealing edge. The screed plate includes at least one screed flange. The screed bar includes a body and a sealing lip including at least one projection. The screed bar is slidable between an open position where the sealing lip engages the sealing edge and a closed position where the sealing lip is disengaged from the sealing edge, and the at least one projection engages the sealing edge when the screed bar is in the open position and when the screed bar is in a closed position.

    Abstract: An electronic component mounting machine is provided with a film thickness gage. The film thickness gage is provided with measurement sections. The mounting head moves to a position above the storage section and lowers the film thickness gage to cause the film thickness gage to come into contact with the flux film. In the film thickness gage, the measurement sections form measurement marks corresponding to the film thickness in the flux film. The electronic component mounting machine images the measurement marks using a mark camera, and determines the film thickness of the flux film which is actually formed based on imaging data.

    Abstract: A battery grid pasting system includes a battery grid pasting machine, a sensing station, and a controller. The battery grid pasting machine includes a conveying apparatus confronting a hopper's dispensing end across a space, and includes a motor actuatable to cause variance of the space and hence variance of the amount of battery paste received on carried battery grids through the space. The sensing station senses a value of a property of a pasted battery grid. And the controller receives the sensed value of the property and controls actuation of the motor based in part or more on the received value.

    Abstract: A fluid delivery device is provided. The fluid delivery device includes a melter having a loading chamber and a hopper disposed in communication with the loading chamber, the loading chamber having one or more heating elements. The hopper includes a second heating element. The melter also includes a container handling system for lifting a container a predetermined height and moving the container from a position remote of the melter to a position within the loading chamber.     Abstract: A method for applying a fast curing epoxy traffic marking composition is provided in which curing agents are coated on a carrier such as glass beads or porous silica. These carriers are dropped onto the epoxy coating and promote rapid curing of the top layer of the epoxy coating while the bottom layer is given additional time to adhere to the roadway surface. This enables the application contractor to open a marked roadway in a quicker manner with less motorist disruption.
