摘要: An irradiation device comprises a light source, an optical switch element and an image recognition module communicatively connected to the optical switch element. In some embodiments, a contour of a target area is recognized by an image recognition module and is provided by the image recognition module to the optical switch element, and a contour of an irradiation area of the light source is controlled by the optical switch element to match with the contour of the target area according to the contour of the target area provided by the image recognition module. Thus, when skin diseases are treated using the irradiation device according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, the contour of the irradiation area of the light source coincides with the contour of the target area, thereby ensuring a therapeutic effect with respect to the target area while avoiding damages to skin in a healthy area.

摘要: A UV exposure dosimetry system includes at least one UV sensor that measures the UV irradiance intensity. The system can generate extrapolated UV intensity data based on measured UV intensity data to correct unreliable UV measurement due to inconsistent irradiation of UV light. The system integrates the extrapolated UV intensity data over time to calculate real-time UV dosage and vitamin D production by taking into account factors including UV sensor location, body surface area, clothing coverage, and sunscreen usage. Based on the measurement, the system can predict the time remaining to skin burn and the time remaining to reach daily goal of vitamin D production. The system is also adapted to measure sun exposure time based on the corrected UV intensity over a period of time. The UV dosimetry system supports multi-user control through an advanced and user friendly input and output interface.

摘要: A spectrometer includes a chamber, a vacuum generator configured to suck in internal air of the chamber to pull skin of a subject into the chamber, a light source configured to emit light to the skin of the subject pulled into the chamber, a photodetector configured to receive light passing through the skin of the subject and acquire a spectrum of the light; and a skin contact adjuster configured to determine a contact state between the chamber and the skin by analyzing the spectrum of the light and thereby generate a determination result, and adjust the contact state between the chamber and the skin by applying a physical force to a periphery of the skin pulled into the chamber according to the determination result.

摘要: A cartridge assembly for modifying a treating surface, having a body that defines a reservoir that has a standpipe. The reservoir stores a treatment composition. The body comprises a reservoir wall and a die wall that collectively define a reservoir volume. The standpipe is defined by a standpipe wall that extends into the reservoir from a standpipe base, wherein the standpipe base comprises a portion of the die wall. The standpipe base and the standpipe wall collectively define a standpipe volume. The ratio of the reservoir volume to the standpipe volume is from about 50:1 to about 3:1, preferably from about 20:1 to about 4:1, and more preferably about 8:1. Further, the ratio of the surface area of the die wall to the standpipe base is from about 1.1:1 to about 3:1.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) device includes: a light source; a mirror to reflect a light from the light source; a light receiver to output the light from the light source to skin and receive a light reflected from the skin; a detector to detect an interference signal between the light reflected from the mirror and the light received by the light receiver; an image sensor to convert the detected interference signal into an image signal; a processor to output a second signal by filtering a first signal based on the image signal, calculate an error by using the first signal and the second signal, and output an error-compensated image by compensating for the calculated error; and a display to display the error-compensated image. In this configuration, the OCT device may reduce noise caused by the image sensor, to display a skin image with improved quality.
