摘要: A vehicle system includes a warning device and at least one electronic control unit. The at least one electronic control unit is configured to present a light stimulus to a driver, and determine whether the driver is facing forward, determine whether the driver holds a steering wheel, and cause the warning device to perform a first warning when it is determined that the driver is not facing forward while the light stimulus is being presented. The first warning is either the vibration or the sound. The at least one electronic control unit is configured to perform a second warning when it is determined that the driver does not hold the steering wheel before a predetermined time elapses after the first warning is started. The second warning includes the vibration and the sound.

摘要: A management apparatus is configured to adjust an upper limit amount of electric power for charging. The management apparatus may be provided in an electric vehicle or a charging apparatus. The management apparatus may include a dial for adjusting the upper limit amount of electric power, and a user may be able to adjust the upper limit amount of electric power by operating the dial. A user who drives 300 km per week for commute may set the amount of electric power corresponding to 300 km (plus extra travel distance) for the upper limit amount of electric power. The user may connect a battery to the charging apparatus on weekends. When the battery has a capacity to store the amount of electric power corresponding to, for example, 500 km, the management apparatus may stop charging when the battery is charged with the set upper limit amount of electric power.

摘要: A power supply system includes a plurality of sweep modules, a defect detecting unit, and a control unit. Each sweep module includes a battery module and a power circuit module. The defect detecting unit detects a defect for each sweep module. The number of sweep modules is greater S (S≥2) than a minimum number of sweep modules required for operation. When the number of defective sweep modules in which a defect has been detected is equal to or less than F (2≤F≤S), the control unit is configured to disconnect the defective sweep modules from a main line and to continuously execute sweep control.

摘要: A recovering device includes a charging chamber configured to overcharge a nickel-metal hydride battery. The charging chamber is provided with: a first water bath; a fixing device configured to fix the nickel-metal hydride battery with a portion of a container of the nickel-metal hydride battery being immersed in the water coolant in the first water bath; a pump; a dial gauge configured to detect a deformation amount of the container of the nickel-metal hydride battery; and a collection container configured to collect the gas exhausted from the exhaust valve of the nickel-metal hydride battery and exhaust the gas to outside the recovering device. The recovering device further includes a controller configured to perform the overcharging process for the nickel-metal hydride battery. The controller is configured to halt the overcharging process when the deformation amount of the container exceeds a threshold value.

摘要: A display device includes: a display unit configured to display an image on a windshield of a host vehicle; and an electronic control unit configured to: recognize other vehicles; determine whether a squeezing candidate vehicle having a possibility to squeeze before the host vehicle presents; calculate, when the squeezing candidate vehicle is determined to present, a first appearance interval that increases according to a time elapsed from a time when the squeezing candidate vehicle is last determined to present; and cause the display unit to display a first blinking display when the squeezing candidate vehicle is determined to present. The electronic control unit is configured to reduce a number of blinks of the first blinking display when the first appearance interval is smaller than a first threshold as compared with a case when the first appearance interval is equal to or larger than the first threshold.
