Abstract: A drive system includes: a power split mechanism including a planetary gear unit, in which a ring gear is connected to an internal combustion engine, a sun gear is connected to a motor, and a carrier is connected to a counter shaft in a manner capable of transmitting power; a lock mechanism that can lock the sun gear; and a clutch mechanism that can engage the sun gear and the ring gear. The internal combustion engine, the power split mechanism, the motor, the lock mechanism, and the clutch mechanism are arranged on the same axis. The lock mechanism and the clutch mechanism are arranged on an opposite side of the internal combustion engine with the power split mechanism and the motor being interposed therebetween.

Abstract: A clutch includes: an input member and an output member that rotate about an axis; an actuator fixed so as to be nonrotatable, the actuator having a plunger, a case, and a coil housed in the case; and an elastic member having one end which is connected to the output member via a bearing and another end which is connected to the plunger directly or indirectly. The notch plate includes flat portions between the notches that are adjacent in the circumferential direction, and each flat portion includes a first recess at a position where the corresponding strut having risen toward the notch plate is brought into contact.

The notch plate includes a plane portion including a first inclined surface, and the first inclined surface provides the engaging piece with force in a direction into which the engaging piece is urged away from the notch plate, when the notch plate is rotated in an engaging direction into which the engaging piece rising toward the notch plate is engaged with the engaging recess portion, and one end portion of the engaging piece rises toward the notch plate and comes in contact with the plane portion.

Abstract: A selectable one-way clutch includes: a shaft; an actuator configured to cause the shaft to perform a rectilinear motion in a shaft direction; and an arm including an operation portion configured to receive force in the shaft direction from the shaft. The shaft includes a first flange and a second flange. An engaged state and a released state the selectable one-way clutch are switched by an operation of the arm by the rectilinear motion of the shaft, in an assembled state of the shaft and the arm in which the operation portion is arranged between the first flange and the second flange. The first flange is provided with a cut portion in an outer peripheral edge of the first shaft. The shaft has a structure in which the first flange does not face the operation portion in the shaft direction by the cut portion of the first flange.

Abstract: A control system is for a vehicle (Ve), and the control system comprises an electronic control unit (18).
