Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, wherein the at least one processor is configured to establish, via the communication circuit, a communication connection with a display device, identify channel information about a first channel on which the communication connection is established, identify image information about an image displayed in the display device, and based on the channel information about the first channel and the image information, identify whether the electronic device is capable of transmitting a data frame each communication cycle which corresponds to a frame rate provided in the display device.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise an ultra-wideband (UWB) communication circuit, a Wi-Fi communication circuit and a processor controlling the UWB communication circuit and the Wi-Fi communication circuit. The processor may be configured to identify an operation channel of the UWB communication circuit, identify a communication band of the Wi-Fi communication circuit, overlapping the operation channel of the UWB communication circuit, and when the communication band overlapping the operation channel is activated, determine whether to simultaneously perform Wi-Fi communication through the activated communication band and UWB communication through the operation channel. Other various embodiments are possible as well.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, a method of controlling data communication of an electronic device, the method comprising performing the directional wireless communication together with an external electronic device capable of performing the directional wireless communication and the omni-directional wireless communication, by using the first wireless communication circuit, determining the distance between an electronic device and the external electronic device, at least partially on the basis of a signal of the external electronic device received by using the second wireless communication circuit, when the stop or degradation of the directional wireless communication is detected, and determining whether to reattempt the directional wireless communication using the first wireless communication circuit, at least partially on the basis of the determined distance or to start the omni-directional wireless communication using the second wireless communication circuit. Other embodiments are possible.
