    Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate spaced from a second substrate, a gate line, a first data line, and a second data line on the first substrate, a first switch connected to the gate line and the first data line, a second switch connected to the gate line and the second data line, a first pixel electrode connected to the first switch, and a second pixel electrode connected to the second switch. The second pixel electrode is adjacent to the first pixel electrode. The first gate line extends in a first direction. A first light emission area positioned corresponding to the first pixel electrode and a second light emission area positioned corresponding to the second pixel electrode are adjacent to each other in the first direction. The second data line and the second switch are in the first light emission area.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate opposing a second substrate, a reflection layer on the first substrate, a color filter layer on the reflection layer, and a pixel electrode on the color filter layer. The color filter layer includes a first color filter adjacent to a second color filter. The reflection layer includes a slit portion overlapping an edge portion between the first color filter and the second color filter.

    Abstract: A display device includes substrate including a red pixel area, a green pixel area, a blue pixel area, and a white pixel area, a gate line and a data line on the substrate, a thin film transistor connected to each of the gate line and the data line, an insulating layer on the gate line, the data line, and the thin film transistor, the insulating layer having grooves in the red pixel area, the green pixel area, and the blue pixel area, respectively, a reflective layer on the insulating layer, the reflective layer being in the red pixel area, the green pixel area, and the blue pixel area, a color filter in each of the grooves of the insulating layer, and a transparent pixel electrode on the color filter and the insulating layer, the transparent pixel electrode being connected to the thin film transistor.
