    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration message that indicates a radio resource allocation and a transmission scheme for one or more first configured grant-small data transfer (CG-SDT) occasions and one or more second CG-SDT occasions. The one or more second CG-SDT occasions are at least partially nested, in time, frequency, or a combination thereof, within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions. The UE may therefore transmit, to the base station, an uplink communication within the one or more first CG-SDT occasions or the one or more second CG-SDT occasions, using the radio resource allocation and the transmission scheme. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure resources on a first communication link for scheduling requests and may transmit an indication of the configured resources over a second communication link to a first device. The first device may relay the indication of the configured resources to a second device via the first communication link. The second device may identify that resources on the first communication link are unavailable for a transmission and may transmit a scheduling request. The first device may receive the scheduling request. The first device may transmit, over the first communication link and based on the scheduling request, an indication of one or more shared channel resources configured by the base station for the transmission. The first device may receive, over the first communication link, the transmission over the one or more shared channel resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support system information block (SIB) validity times that are device, deployment, or operation specific. For example, a network entity may transmit, to a UE, an indication of a SIB validity time that is specific to one or more of the UE, a device type of the UE, or a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle associated with the UE. In some implementations, the network entity may transmit the indication of the SIB validity time that is specific to the UE via system information along with one or more other SIB validity times that may be specific to one or more other UEs. As such, different SIB validity times indicated via system information may correspond to different UEs, different device types, or different DRX cycles.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to provide for a user equipment (UE) and a base station to dynamically change a priority level of channel state information (CSI) reporting, such as from a low level to a high priority level, and in some cases back to the low level. If a condition is met, the UE and the base station may determine to change the priority of the CSI reporting from a low priority level to a high priority level. When the priority level for the CSI reporting is changed to a high priority level, the UE may transmit one or more CSI reports to the base station. The UE and the base station may change the priority level of the CSI reporting back to a low priority level if a second condition is met.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a reduction in false positive paging. In some implementations, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, at a user equipment (UE) from a base station, a paging downlink control information (DCI). The paging DCI message is encoded to indicate an addressee of a paging message or indicates one or more UEs or a location of radio resources of the paging message in a time dimension, a frequency dimension, or both. The method also includes determining, at the UE, whether the paging message is addressed to the UE based on: an encoding of the paging DCI message, whether the one or more UEs include the UE, or the location of the radio resources of the paging message in the time dimension, the frequency dimension, or both. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
