    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an aerial user equipment (UE) may measure a first offset associated with a downlink frame based at least in part on a time when a downlink signal is received from a terrestrial base station. The aerial UE may determine a second offset corresponding to a starting time for the downlink frame at the terrestrial base station. The aerial UE may transmit an uplink message in an uplink frame using a timing advance that is based at least in part on a value of the first offset and a value of the second offset relative to a starting time associated with a global navigation satellite system frame duration. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may use partial frequency sounding with different frequency subhop patterns so that a portion (which may be referred to as a subhop) of configured sounding reference signal (SRS) resources (e.g., a hop) are sounded. In some cases, a UE may receive a control message from a network entity identifying the frequency subhop pattern. In some cases, the network entity may configure a UE to transmit repetitions of the SRS in a same hop across consecutive symbols to increase a probability that the transmissions are successfully received and decoded by the network entity. As such, the network entity may configure a repetition factor for the frequency subhop pattern. In some cases, the frequency subhop pattern may introduce a frequency overlap between subhops.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect whether a data sample falls outside of a dataset used to train a machine learning model configured by a network device. For example, a base station may transmit control signaling to the UE to indicate an out-of-distribution (OOD) detection rule configuration that the UE uses to determine whether at least one data sample falls outside of the dataset. If the at least one data sample is determined to fall outside of the dataset using the OOD detection rule configuration, the UE may transmit an indication to the base station that indicates an OOD event has occurred for the at least one sample. Additionally, the base station may parameters for determining the OOD event, OOD detection patterns to indicate when to monitor for the OOD event, or a combination thereof.
