    Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate generally to mobility in a service-based architecture. Some aspects more specifically relate to path switching in a service-based architecture. In some examples, a distributed node may exchange signaling with a service server to configure and execute a path switch in connection with handover of a user equipment to the distributed node. For example, the distributed node may communicate with the service server directly. As another example, the distributed node may communicate with a mobility service to execute the path switch. In some examples, aspects described herein provide for a service server to buffer data and provide data forwarding in connection with the path switch.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that includes trigger information for generating a measurement report for one or more candidate secondary cells after receiving an activation command that activates a secondary cell for which the UE has not reported measurements. The UE may receive the activation command. The UE may transmit the measurement report based at least in part on the activation command and the trigger information.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for a nested conditional mobility procedure. In some cases, a method for wireless communications by a UE generally includes receiving configuration information configuring the UE for conditional handover (CHO) from a source master node (S-MN) to a target master node (T-MN) and for conditional primary secondary cell (PSCell) addition or change (CPAC) and performing a nested procedure based on an evaluation of conditions for both CHO and CPAAC in accordance with the configuration information.
