    Abstract: An access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) is associated with a first communication link, and one or more secondary APs of the AP MLD are associated with one or more respective secondary communication links of the AP MLD. The first AP of the AP MLD generates a frame including a first change sequence field, one or more secondary change sequence fields, and a critical update flag subfield. The first change sequence field carries a value of the most-recent critical update for the first AP. The one or more secondary change sequence fields carry values of the most-recent critical updates for the one or more respective secondary APs. The critical update flag subfield carries an indication of a change in value of at least one of the secondary change sequence fields. The first AP transmits the frame over the first communication link of the AP MLD.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for transmitting Bluetooth audio data over a Wi-Fi channel associated with one or more Wi-Fi channels. In some instances, a wireless communication device operating as a wireless station (STA) associated with an access point (AP) while operating as a softAP paired with a peripheral device via a Bluetooth protocol receives one or more first data packets over a Wi-Fi channel from the AP, the one or more first data packets carrying audio data intended for the peripheral device. The device processing the audio data based at least in part on a stored Bluetooth profile, and embeds the processed audio data into Ethernet frames of a new Ethertype. The new Ethertype frames are encapsulated within one or more second data packets and transmitted over the Wi-Fi channel to the peripheral device.

    Abstract: A wireless device establishes a Bluetooth connection with a peripheral device based on one or more Bluetooth Specifications, and transmits one or more first Bluetooth-encoded data frames to the peripheral device over the Bluetooth connection. The wireless device initiates a first handover operation for communications with the peripheral device responsive to a link metric of the Bluetooth connection being less than a first link metric threshold. In some instances, the first handover operation includes selecting an access point (AP) of one or more candidate APs based on signal strengths of frames received from the one or more candidate APs, and switching the communications between the wireless device and the peripheral device from the Bluetooth connection to a wireless local area network (WLAN) channel associated with the selected AP. The wireless device transmits one or more second Bluetooth-encoded data frames to the peripheral device over the WLAN channel.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for low-latency communications in wireless networks. In some implementations, a wireless station (STA) may transmit a data session request to a root access point (AP) in a wireless network responsive to activating an application associated with latency restricted (LR) data traffic. In some aspects, the data session request may indicate one or more preferred channels to carry the LR data traffic. In some other aspects, the data session request may indicate one or more preferred times to exchange the LR data traffic. In some implementations, the root AP may establish an LR data path with the STA based on the preferred time or frequency resources indicated in the data session request. The LR data path may include time or frequency resources that are reserved for LR data traffic between the root AP and the STA.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for use of automated frequency coordination (AFC) to manage transmission power and frequencies. In some implementations, a device transmits, to a network entity, an AFC request. The device receives, from the network entity, an AFC response, the AFC response including an AFC power level indication of one or more nearest neighboring entities. The device sets a transmit power of the device based at least in part on the AFC power level indication of at least one of the one or more nearest neighboring entities, and the device transmits at the transmit power.     Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for performing passive scanning operations on one or more wireless channels. In some implementations, a wireless communication device configures an off-channel scan time and a passive scanning period for passive scanning operations based on latency requirements of a low-latency application, and selects a home channel dwell time for the passive scanning operations. The wireless communication device may perform the passive scanning operation by alternating between listening for beacon frames on one or more second wireless channels for the configured off-channel scan time and dwelling on a home channel for the selected home channel dwell time during a first portion of the configured scanning period. The wireless communication device also may listen for beacon frames on the one or more second wireless channels during a second portion of the configured scanning period that is defined by the selected home channel dwell time.
