Abstract: Wireless communication devices are adapted to facilitate multiplexing of signals. According to one example, a wireless communication device can multiplex a first signal and a second signal for transmission across a first resource element and a second resource element. The first resource element may utilize a first subcarrier in a first symbol employing a first numerology. The second resource element may utilize a second subcarrier in a second symbol employing a second numerology that is different from the first numerology, where the second subcarrier overlaps in frequency at least a portion of the first subcarrier. The first and second symbols including the multiplexed first and second signals may subsequently be transmitted. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to wireless communications systems, and more particularly, to soft combining of control information. For example, certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes monitoring for control information in each of a plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCHs) during a different one of a plurality of time intervals, wherein the PDCCHs contain the same control information that indicates a resource allocation within a respective one of the time intervals for receiving one of a plurality of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs), wherein data in each of the plurality of PDSCHs is the same. In certain aspects, the method also includes soft-combining the plurality of PDCCHs to decode the control information, and decoding the control information based on the soft-combination of the plurality of PDCCHs.

Abstract: Various features related to a single bit ACK/NACK feedback for CBG based transmissions in a communication system are described. In an aspect, a base station may transmit, to a UE, a set of CBGs of a TB including a first subset of CBGs and a second subset of CBGs, the first subset of CBGs being transmitted on at least partially punctured resources. The base station may receive an ACK/NACK from the UE based on the transmitted set of CBGs, and retransmit to the UE one of the full set of CBGs or the first subset of CBGs based the received ACK/NACK. In an aspect, a UE may decode the set of CBGs received from the base station, transmit ACK/NACK feedback based on a result of the decoding, and receive, based on the transmitted ACK/NACK feedback, a retransmission of either the full set of CBGs, or the first subset of CBGs.
