Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a cathode foil, an anode foil, a conductive polymer, and a liquid component. The anode foil has a dielectric layer on a main surface of the anode foil. The conductive polymer covers at least part of the dielectric layer. The conductive polymer is disposed between the cathode foil and the anode foil. The liquid component is in contact with the conductive polymer. The cathode foil includes a first oxide coating film on an end surface of the cathode foil.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element. The capacitor element includes: an anode foil having a dielectric layer thereon, and a cathode layer including a conductive polymer and in contact with the dielectric layer. The capacitor element is impregnated with a liquid containing at least one of polyalkylene glycol and derivatives selected from a group consisting of polyethylene glycol glyceryl ether, polyethylene glycol diglyceryl ether, polyethylene glycol sorbitol ether, polypropylene glycol glyceryl ether, polypropylene glycol diglyceryl ether, polypropylene glycol sorbitol ether, copolymers of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, copolymers of ethylene glycol and butylene glycol, and copolymers of propylene glycol and butylene glycol.

Abstract: A method for producing an electrolytic capacitor includes: a first step of preparing a capacitor element that includes an anode body on which a dielectric layer is formed; a second step of impregnating the capacitor element with a first treatment solution containing a first solvent and a conductive polymer; a third step of impregnating, after the second step, the capacitor element with a second treatment solution containing a second solvent; and a fourth step of impregnating, after the third step, the capacitor element with an electrolyte solution containing a third solvent. Both the second solvent and the third solvent are an aprotic solvent.

Abstract: A power storage device has a power storage element and an electrolytic solution. The power storage element includes an anode body, a cathode body opposed to the anode body, and a separator interposed between the anode body and the cathode body. The separator includes a separator base material and a conductive polymer deposited on the separator base material. The power storage element is impregnated with the electrolytic solution. The separator has a first surface layer, which includes a first surface opposed to the anode body, and a second surface layer, which includes a second surface opposed to the cathode body. An amount of the conductive polymer deposited in a first separator half body, which is a part from a center of the separator to the first surface, is greater than an amount of the conductive polymer deposited in a second separator half body, which is a part from the center of the separator to the second surface.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes an electrode foil and a lead member connected to the electrode foil. The electrode foil has a first principal surface and a second principal surface opposite to the first principal surface. The electrode foil and the lead member are connected by a caulking part in an overlapping part in which the first principal surface of the electrode foil and the lead member overlap each other. The caulking part has a through-hole penetrating the electrode foil and the lead member. The electrode foil in the caulking part includes a first folded part that is folded back at a peripheral edge portion of the through-hole to be disposed on the second principal surface. The lead member in the caulking part includes (i) a penetrating part that penetrates the electrode foil and (ii) a second folded part that is folded back at an end portion of the penetrating part to be disposed on the second principal surface. The penetrating part includes an inner wall of the through-hole. The second folded part covers the first folded part.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes an anode body, a cathode body, and a conductive polymer and a liquid component that are disposed between the anode body and the cathode body. The liquid component contains an acid component, a base component, and an aromatic additive. The acid component includes at least one of an aromatic carboxylic acid and an aromatic carboxylic acid derivative. The at least one of the aromatic carboxylic acid and the aromatic carboxylic acid derivative includes at least two carboxy groups and at least one aromatic ring. A content proportion of the base component in the liquid component is more than or equal to 1% by mass. The aromatic additive includes an electron withdrawing group and an electron donating group. A content ratio of the aromatic additive contained in the liquid component is more than or equal to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the conductive polymer.

Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution includes a solvent, a solute, and a polymer component. The solvent includes an ethylene glycol compound. The polymer component includes polyalkylene glycol. The polyalkylene glycol includes at least one of (i) a mixture of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene and (ii) an oxyethylene-oxypropylene copolymer. In the polyalkylene glycol, a molar ratio m/n of oxyethylene units to oxypropylene units is greater than 1.
