Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a method performed by a first wireless device for bandwidth negotiation for frame exchange in a TXOP with a second wireless device, including: announcing by the first wireless device a channel puncture scheme indicating whether some 20 MHz channels covering a BSS operating bandwidth are punctured or not; transmitting a frame to the second wireless device indicating a bandwidth for the frame exchange; receiving a frame from the second wireless device indicating a negotiated bandwidth for the frame exchange; and exchanging frames with the second wireless device using the negotiated bandwidth.

Abstract: Examples of wireless communication based on link use capabilities of multi-link devices is disclosed. A first multi-link device receives a first physical layer conformance procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) on a first link from a second multi-link device and transmits a second PPDU on the second link based on a link use capability of the second multi-link device and a backoff counter counting down to a predetermined value. A first multi-link device also transmits a PPDU on the first link and the second link at a same start time based on an link idle determination and the backoff counter counting down to a predetermined value.

Abstract: A method for securing a multi-band wireless communication system includes authenticating a first station (STA) multi-link device (MLD) with a second STA MLD comprising negotiating a group of keys in a key negotiation (KN) band, the group of keys comprising a Pair-Wise Transient Key and a Group Transient Key. The KN band is one of a plurality of frequency bands. The first STA MLD includes a plurality of first STA links. The second STA MLD includes a plurality of second STA links. Each of first STA links and each corresponding second STA link are configured to transceive over a respective one of the plurality of frequency bands. Authenticating the first STA MLD in the KN band authenticates the first STA MLD for each of the frequency bands.

Abstract: A first communication device determines an amount of data queued at the first communication device for transmission. When a control field is to be generated according to a first format, the first communication device determines a scaling value (SV) and an unscaled value (UV) corresponding to the determined amount of data queued for transmission such that a result of SV multiplied by BV indicates the determined amount of data queued for transmission, and generates the control field to include i) a scaling factor subfield set to indicate the SV, and ii) an unscaled queue size subfield set to indicate the BV. When the control field is to be generated according to a second format, the first communication generates the control field to include a queue size subfield set to indicate the determined amount of data queued for transmission and such that the control field does not include the scaling factor subfield.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a method performed by a multi-link device (MLD) access point to establish a target wake time (TWT) with a MLD station, wherein a plurality of links are established between the MLD access point and the MLD station, including: transmitting, by the MLD access point, a TWT set up frame to the MLD station configured to indicate whether the TWT set up frame is applied to multiple links of the plurality of links; and negotiating, by the MLD access point, a TWT agreement with the MLD station via one of the multiple links with the MLD station, wherein the TWT agreement applies to all of the indicated multiple links.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a method performed by a station to identify the maximum allowed transmit power spectral density (PSD) of a basic service set (BSS), including: receiving, by the station, a first field from an access point (AP) of the BSS, wherein the first field indicates that the BSS bandwidth is set to M times a unit channel bandwidth; receiving, by the station, a set of second fields from the AP, wherein the set of second fields includes K fields corresponding to K channels and wherein each of the K second fields indicates the maximum allowed transmit PSD for the K channels and the bandwidth of the channel is the unit channel bandwidth; and identifying, by the station, the maximum allowed transmit PSD of the M channels of the BSS bandwidth from the first M consecutive second fields.
