Abstract:
A tilting pad journal bearing mounted with a stepped seal tooth at an oil supply part disposed between bearing pads is disclosed. More particularly, the tilting pad journal bearing is formed by mounting a plurality of the bearing pads between an inner circumference of a bearing case and an outer circumference of a rotor, and mounting the seal tooth only to the oil supply part formed between the bearing pads to supply cooling lubricant while removing the seal tooth from a bearing pad part to thereby reduce a frictional torque between the bearing and the rotor and metal temperature, such that performance of the bearing pad can be guaranteed and the capability of the bearing can be improved by reducing loss of a driving force.
Abstract:
A humanoid robot to naturally imitate various motions and gestures of humans and a shoulder joint assembly thereof is disclosed. The humanoid robot includes a first shoulder joint device disposed between a body and an arm of the robot, to move the arm. The entire first shoulder joint device is movable relative to the body. For this, a second shoulder joint device may be installed between the body and the first shoulder joint device to move the first shoulder joint device.
Abstract:
A refrigerant distributor is disclosed, for minimizing noise and providing refrigerant to each refrigerant tube uniformly, which includes a hollow body (11) in which a refrigerant flows; an inlet (12) provided at one end of the body, and through which the refrigerant flows in; and a plurality of discharge holes (13) provided for being in parallel at the other end of the body.
Abstract:
A system and method for assisting a visually impaired individual provides a guide robot that can guide a user to a desired destination. The guide robot includes at least one camera device, at least one distance measurement device, a global positioning system (GPS) module, and a controller. The camera device, the distance measurement device, and the GPS module are used to capture data of the area surrounding the guide robot in order to track and detect path obstacles along an intended geospatial path. The intended geospatial path is virtually generated in accordance to a set of navigational instructions that can be provided by the user. The user can provide the navigational instructions through a set of voice commands and/or through a computerized leash. The guide robot can notify the user of the path obstacles along the intended geospatial in order to safely guide the user to the desired destination.
Abstract:
An obstacle sensor includes a line light irradiating unit including a light-emitting unit, a light-emitting driving unit to drive the light-emitting unit, and a first conical mirror, an apex of which is disposed towards the light-emitting unit in a light irradiation direction of the light-emitting unit and which converts light emitted from the light-emitting unit into line light irradiated in all directions, and a reflected light receiving unit including a second conical mirror to condense light, that is irradiated from the first conical mirror and is then reflected from an obstacle, a lens, that is spaced from the apex of the second conical mirror by a predetermined distance and transmits the reflected light, an imaging unit to image the reflected light that passes through the lens, an image processing unit, and an obstacle sensing control unit.
Abstract:
An electroconductive transparent adhesive composition containing a transparent adhesive monomer, any one electroconductive mesoporous filler selected from the group consisting of porous carbon, an electroconductive polymer and combinations thereof, and a polymerization initiator, and an electroconductive transparent adhesive produced using the composition are provided. The electroconductive transparent adhesive composition is less expensive and highly economically efficient, and has excellent electrical conductivity and transparency, and has excellent mechanical strength. Thus, the electroconductive transparent adhesive composition can be used in a variety of electrical and electronic applications such as touch screens, displays, and electronic devices.
Abstract:
A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) module for preventing a hot spot that deteriorates an external appearance quality using existing components is provided. The LCD module includes an optical sheet disposed at an upper surface of a light guide plate, a Light Emitting Diode Flexible Printed Circuit Board (LED FPCB) on which an LED for emitting light to the light guide plate is mounted, and a double-sided tape having a portion protruding toward the optical sheet further than the LED FPCB and adhered to a mounting surface of the LED FPCB. Therefore, occurrence of a hot spot can be reduced without increasing components. Further, because a thickness increase of a local portion is unnecessary, a second failure such as panel lifting is not caused.
Abstract:
Provided is a managing technology of an on-line game which increases a usability of users and diversifies the service. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a sports game character information managing method, including: receiving event information on at least one of a team and a player included in an on-line game from at least one of an organization and a medium related with a sports game corresponding to the on-line game; selecting at least one of players related with the event information; selecting a game character which matches identification information of the selected player; setting an improved capability point which is added to a capability point of the selected game character in accordance with the event information; and adding the improved capability point to the capability point of the game character which is stored in a game server.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for preventing infection by malicious code, comprising: a database in which files installed in an agent system, DNA values for each part of the files, and index information for indicating whether each file is normal or malicious are stored; a calculation unit which calculates a DNA value for a part of a file for which an execution is requested in the agent system; and a file inspection unit which searches the database to extract, in a group, files having the DNA value calculated by the calculation unit, inspects whether an object file is normal or malicious on the basis of the index information on the files extracted in a group, and allows the execution of the object file or makes a request for the calculation of DNA values of other parts which selectively include one part of the object file.
