Abstract: This application provides a resource configuration method and apparatus. A multiplexing type between a second functional unit and each of one or more antenna panels of a first functional unit is indicated to an IAB node, so that the IAB node obtains a resource configuration of an MT or a resource configuration of a DU based on the multiplexing type. Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a beam usage method, including: A first communication device determines a first beam and a second beam, where the first beam and the second beam are beams of a same type. The first communication device determines, according to a first rule, a beam used for a first control resource set, where the beam used for the first control resource set is the first beam and/or the second beam. In this way, the first communication device correctly applies a beam, that is indicated by a network device, to a channel corresponding to a control resource set, so that the channel corresponding to the control resource set is transmitted through the correct beam, to improve communication transmission performance.

Abstract: In a transmission parameter configuration method, a first node receives a transmission configuration message, where the transmission configuration message includes transmission configuration index information and a transmission parameter corresponding to the transmission configuration index information, and the transmission configuration index information is used to identify different transmission modes. Abstract: This application provides a beam failure recovery method, an apparatus, and a system. In this solution, a terminal device receives first configuration information from a network device, and performs cell-level beam failure recovery or transmission reception point level (TRP-level) beam failure recovery based on the first configuration information. The first configuration information is used to configure a plurality of sets of beam failure detection resources and a plurality of sets of candidate beam resources. Based on this solution, the terminal device may perform partial beam failure recovery based on the plurality of sets of beam failure detection resources and the plurality of sets of candidate beam resources, so that the terminal device can detect a TRP-level beam failure and recover the TRP-level beam failure in time. This effectively improves smooth system evolution.

Abstract: An IAB node switching method is applied to a relay system, and the relay system includes a donor base station and a first IAB node. The donor base station provides a gateway function for the first IAB node. The first IAB node receives a first BWP configuration from the donor base station, where the first BWP configuration includes a BWP configuration of a second IAB node, and the second IAB node is a candidate upper-level node of the first IAB node. The first IAB node switches to the second IAB node. According to the IAB node switching method, the IAB node, and the donor base station that are provided in this application, service availability of an IAB node is ensured when the IAB node has a plurality of upper-level nodes.

Abstract: This application provides a method for sending a data volume report. Abstract: Data transmission methods and apparatuses for wireless backhaul networks are described. A wireless backhaul node determines one or more reporting nodes for a data volume of a first-type data packet from a plurality of next-hop nodes of the wireless backhaul node on an uplink based on the data volume of the first-type data packet, a data volume of a second-type data packet, and a data volume of a third-type data packet. The wireless backhaul node sends, to the one or more reporting nodes, a buffer status report used to indicate the data volume of the first-type data packet. At least one of the first-type data packet, the second-type data packet, and the third-type data packet includes a data packet from an adaptation layer entity of the wireless backhaul node and/or a data packet from a radio link control layer entity of the wireless backhaul node.
