    摘要: An organic EL display device includes a moisture-resistant structural body which covers an upper surface and a side surface of an organic light emitting layer which is formed on a main surface of an insulation substrate and is formed by stacking a first moisture prevention layer, a moisture absorption layer, a second moisture prevention layer, and an adhesive layer which covers the upper and side surface of the organic EL layer. The first moisture prevention layer, the moisture absorption layer and the second moisture prevention layer on the side surface of the organic light emitting layer include portions are bent toward the side surface from the upper surface of the organic light emitting layer and, further, are bent parallel to a main surface of the insulation substrate from the side surface, and lower surfaces of the respective bent portions of at least one of the layers are hermetically adhered to the main surface of the substrate by the adhesive layer.

    摘要: A solid-sealing type organic EL display device having an excellent mechanical strength, sealed by a highly reliable sealing method and in which the luminescence property is less deteriorated. A laminate film including a thermoplastic adhesive member and a barrier layer against moisture is disposed on an upper electrode that is situated over an organic EL layer. In a sealing part existed in a periphery of the display region, only a metal oxide film which is formed of metal alkoxide exists between an edge of the laminate film and the element substrate. The organic EL element is surrounded only by an inorganic film so that moisture permeation from the outside can be prevented. Moreover the sealing part is composed of the inorganic film having an excellent sealing property against water thereby it is possible to make a width of the sealing part small.

    摘要: An organic electro-luminescence display device emits light by applying a voltage by an image signal between an upper electrode (23) and a lower electrode which sandwich an organic electro-luminescence layer. The organic electro-luminescence layer comprises an electron transporting layer, a light emitting layer, and a hole transporting layer. The electron transporting layer includes an organic material and cesium, and has a moisture absorbing characteristic. A structure in which the same materials as the electron transporting layer are used and which has a different constituent composition and a greater amount of cesium is used as a desiccant (40) and placed in a region which does not overlap the organic electro-luminescence layer, to effectively remove moisture inside the organic electro-luminescence display device.

As means for solving such a task, the present invention provides a display device including a light emitting element and a switching element in a pixel, wherein the switching element is provided for supplying a power source to the light emitting element and is constituted of a first switching element and a second switching element.
