The information processing method provided in the embodiments of this application includes: determining, by a network device, configuration information of a wake-up signal, where the wake-up signal is used to indicate whether to page a terminal device within a time period, and the configuration information of the wake-up signal is used to indicate a time interval between two adjacent wake-up signals; and sending, by the network device, the configuration information of the wake-up signal to a core network device.
