Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and discloses a polar code encoding method and apparatus, to improve accuracy of reliability calculation and ordering for polarized channels. The method includes: obtaining a first sequence used to encode K to-be-encoded bits, where the first sequence includes sequence numbers of N polarized channels, the sequence numbers of the N polarized channels are arranged in the first sequence based on reliability of the N polarized channels, K is a positive integer, N is a mother code length of a polar code, N is a positive integer power of 2, and K≤N; selecting sequence numbers of K polarized channels from the first sequence in descending order of reliability; and placing the to-be-encoded bits based on the selected sequence numbers of the K polarized channels, and performing polar code encoding on the to-be-encoded bits.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an uplink data transmission method and device. The method includes: receiving, by a network device, a control symbol sent by a terminal device by using a control time-frequency resource, where the control symbol carries control information, the control information is used to indicate a data encoding scheme used by the terminal device, the control time-frequency resource belongs to a transmission resource including a data time-frequency resource, and the control time-frequency resource and the data time-frequency resource are different; performing demodulation and decoding processing on the control symbol to obtain the control information; and performing, according to the control information, decoding processing on a data symbol sent by the terminal device by using the data time-frequency resource, to obtain uplink data.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes generating a first signal and sending a first signal, where the first signal includes an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, a first-type cyclic prefix (CP), and a second-type CP. CP resources of the first-type CP include two types of CP resources: a first CP resource and a second CP resource. CP resources of the second-type CP include one type of CP resource, that is, the second CP resource. The first CP resource may be used to carry data that is different from data carried on the OFDM symbol. The second CP resource may be used to carry data that is the same as the data carried on the OFDM symbol.
