Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products, for processing a stream of image frames captured by a camera system. A hardcoded alert image frame is generated in response to detecting an event. The hardcoded alert image frame includes motion deltas and/or color changes with respect to an event image frame. A stream of encoded image frames is generated, in which stream the hardcoded alert image frame is inserted in display order after the encoded event image frame.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of providing a video stream from a system comprising a main unit and a plurality of sensors, wherein the main unit is configured to receive data from the plurality of sensors, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting a multi-view video stream from the main unit to a client, wherein the multi-view video stream represents a multi-view composed of sensor data views from the plurality of sensors in the system; receiving, in the main unit, a command from the client representing a zoom-in operation; computing an updated multi-view according to the received command; evaluating if the updated multi-view includes an area outside a dominating sensor data view in the updated multi-view that is greater than a predetermined threshold; if the area outside the dominating sensor data view is greater than the predetermined threshold, transmitting a multi-view video stream representing the updated multi-view; if the area outside the dominating sensor data view is less than, or equal to, the predetermined threshold, transmitting a single-view video stream representing the dominating sensor data view. The present disclosure further relates to a system for providing a video stream comprising sensor data views.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a background blurring system (1) for provision of a video compression stream from a video camera (2) adapted for capturing a scene. The background blurring system identifies (1001) in a first image of the scene, at a first point in time, at least a first pixel comprised in a background of the first image. The background blurring system further determines (1002) a blurred pixel value for the at least first pixel. Moreover, the background blurring system provides (1003), subsequent the first point in time, the blurred pixel value in the video compression stream. The background blurring system furthermore identifies (1004) in a second image of the scene, at a subsequent second point in time, that the at least first pixel has altered to be comprised in a foreground of the second image. Moreover, the background blurring system provides (1005) in the video compression stream, subsequent the second point in time—continuously and/or intermittently—identified non-blurred pixel values for the at least first pixel. The background blurring system further identifies (1006) in a third image of the scene, at a subsequent third point in time, that the at least first pixel has altered to be comprised in a background of the third image, wherein a value of the at least first pixel has remained unchanged from an intermediate point in time up to the third point in time. Furthermore, when the third point in time is within a predeterminable background merge time period from the intermediate point in time, the background blurring system provides (1007), subsequent the third point in time, the blurred pixel value in the video compression stream.
The disclosure also relates to a background blurring system in accordance with the foregoing, a video camera comprising such a background blurring system, and a respective corresponding computer program product and non-volatile computer readable storage medium.-

Abstract: A video processing comprises a video image processing pipeline and an encoder. Abstract: A method encodes a sequence of image frames depicting an object whose privacy is to be protected. A first and a second version of the sequence of image frames is generated. Image frames of the first version, but not the second version, of the sequence are provided with a privacy mask to protect the privacy of the object depicted therein. The first version of the sequence is encoded as a first encoded sequence of intra-coded image frames and inter-coded image frames. A second version of the sequence is encoded as a second encoded sequence of inter-coded image frames. The inter-coded image frames of the second encoded sequence are encoded by using the intra-coded image frames of the first encoded sequence. The inter-coded image frames of the second encoded sequence are encrypted, and thereafter the first and the second encoded sequence are merged into a single output sequence.
