    Abstract: A method and a camera system for stitching video data from two image sensors arranged to each capture video data of overlapping camera views comprises detecting motion in an area in the camera views corresponding to the overlapping camera views,determining an activity distance, being the distance from a position at the location of the two image sensors to an activity position including the detected motion, positioning in a three-dimensional coordinate system a predefined projection surface at a position having a distance between the position at the location of the image sensors and a position of the projection of the activity onto the projection surface that corresponds to the determined activity distance, projecting the video data from each of the image sensors onto the predefined projection surface that have been positioned at the activity distance, and outputting a two-dimensional video corresponding to the projection onto the projection surface.

    Abstract: A tiltable system for panoramic imaging of a scene. The tiltable system includes: a central camera, a first and a second lateral camera arranged to image the scene in different directions relative to a rotation axis, wherein the first and the second lateral camera are arranged on opposing lateral sides of the central camera, wherein the central camera, the first lateral camera, and the second lateral camera each having an imaging system including a lens assembly and an image sensor; a tilting mechanism enabling the tiltable system for panoramic imaging to tilt about the rotation axis; and an image processing unit including a stitching function configured to stitch together images captured by the central camera, the first lateral camera, and the second lateral camera to form a panoramic image of the scene, the panoramic image having a virtual horizon, and to, upon tilting of the tiltable system for panoramic imaging, maintain the position of the virtual horizon of the panoramic image in the scene; wherein the imaging systems of the first and second lateral cameras have a larger field of view in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis than the imaging system of the central camera.
