    摘要： A system comprises an automatic mixing and dispensing device for a dental substance, and a material container. The mixing and dispensing device comprises a reservoir for receiving the dental substance, and first and second pressure plates. The material container has first and second material chambers for containing components of a material. The first and second material chambers have first and second cross-sectional chamber areas. At least one of the first and second cross-sectional chamber areas is smaller than smallest surface area of the first and second pressure plates. The system helps facilitating preparation and handling of dental materials.

    摘要： A device for dispensing a dental material comprises a container for containing the material and an outlet which is closed by a closure. A breakable seal is arranged between the closure and the container. The device further is operable between a storage position in which the outlet is closed and an operational position in which the outlet is open. An initial operation toward the operational position causes the seal to break, whereby the closure is captured in the device. The device may provide a relatively long shelf life for the material, and may facilitate preparation of the material for use.

    摘要： A dispensing device for a dental material comprises a cartridge having an outlet nozzle which forms a passageway for the dental material. The dispensing device further comprises a closure which is placeable on the outlet nozzle for sealing the cartridge. The closure comprises a pin for extending into the passageway, and is further adapted to seal with an outer surface of the outlet nozzle. The dispensing device is further adapted such that the pin is displaceable from the passageway by dental material dispensed from the cartridge, wherein the displacement causes the closure to release from the outlet nozzle. The invention may provide for relatively easy operation of the dental dispensing device.
