Abstract:
An apparatus for removably retaining a single use cartridge and dispensing at least one compound from the single use cartridge. The apparatus includes a dispensing pen having a housing which includes a source of electricity, an electric motor, a gear assembly and a moving shaft with a multiplicity of teeth to cause an advancing shaft to move forwardly toward the front of the pen and interact with a piston to push a plunger at the rear of the cartridge so that it will dispense compounds from the cartridge. The cartridge can be a single chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge or a dual chamber cartridge separated by a dividing wall. There can be any numerous compounds including teeth whitening compounds, nail polish, cosmetics, etc.
Abstract:
A puncturing device and a system for dispensing viscous food include a puncturing device for cutting self-sealing orifices in flexible containers containing viscous food. The puncturing device includes a housing. A plunger is translatable within the housing between a retracted position and an extended position. At least one blade is secured to the plunger. The at least one blade is configured to cut a self-sealing orifice in a flexible container containing viscous food.
Abstract:
An apparatus for mixing at least two flowable components having a mixer housing with an outlet opening. At least one mixing element arranged in the mixer housing having at least two separate inlet passages through which the flowable components can be introduced separately from one another. Each inlet passage is capable of being in sealing cooperation with a respective outlet passage of a storage container or a chamber. At least one of the inlet passages has an end configured to cooperate with the outlet passage as a piercing element for opening a flow connection between the storage container or the chamber and the inlet passage. The piercing element includes at least two inflow areas for the flowable components, with the two inflow areas being inclined relative to one another. A dispensing apparatus having such a mixer is furthermore provided.
Abstract:
A mixing nozzle assembly for mixing and dispensing fluids includes a nozzle body having an inlet for receiving fluids and an outlet for dispensing fluids. A mixing element is positioned in the nozzle body and is configured for mixing the fluids. A valve member extends through the mixing element. The valve member is configured to selectively open and close the outlet.
Abstract:
Proposed is a dispenser for discharging at least one flowable component from a cartridge. The dispenser comprises a cartridge holder (110) and an advancing element (120) that is slidable therein. A cartridge (200) can be axially inserted into the cartridge holder against a direction of advancing (V). In order to axially fix the cartridge, a rotating element (140) has been provided on the cartridge holder. In a first orientation the cartridge can be slid into the cartridge holder against the direction of advancing, while in the second orientation the rotating element axially fixes the inserted cartridge. Furthermore, in a third orientation the rotating element can be rotatable on the rotary axis in order to open at least one outlet opening of the cartridge.
Abstract:
An applicator/dispenser assembly for dispensing and/or applying an adhesive material comprises: a first body portion and a second body portion, at least one of the first and second body portions being movable relative to the other of the first and second body portions; a cavity in at least one of the first and second body portions; and a piercing or breaking member arranged on one of the first and second body portions. Movement of one of the first and second body portions relative to the other of the first and second body portions moves the piercing or breaking member into the cavity. When a container of adhesive material is at least partially disposed within the cavity, movement of one of the first and second body portions relative to the other moves the piercing or breaking member to rupture the container for dispensing and/or applying the adhesive material.
Abstract:
A package (11) has at least one bag (12, 13) and a head part (16) having a bottom part (17, 37) including a recess (19; 39), an outlet opening (20, 40) and an elevation (22, 42) which at least partially encloses a rim area of the recess (19; 39) and which projects over the bottom part (17, 37) axially toward the bag (12, 13), and a piercing device (21, 41) for the bag (12, 13).
Abstract:
Capsule (10) for two or more components of a material which are to be mixed together, comprising a cartridge (11) comprising an outlet (12), a first component chamber (13) for containing a first component, and a second component chamber (14) for containing a second component, the two chambers (13, 14) opening into the outlet (12); and a piston (15) which at least with its front end sits in the cartridge (11), lies with its rear end outside the component chambers (13, 14) and, when it is pushed forwards, presses the two components out of their component chambers (13, 14).

Abstract:
A dispensing gun discharges a viscous liquid material through a plurality of discharge openings in equal amounts simultaneously. A dividing member divides a passage for the viscous liquid material into a first holding chamber and a second holding chamber and has a communicating opening preferably aligned with the axis of the passage. A flow of the viscous liquid material squeezed from a pouch and deviated from the axis of the passage is held temporarily in the first holding chamber and is forced through a communication opening into the second holding chamber along the axis of the passage. And the viscous liquid material held in the second holding chamber is distributed evenly to the discharge openings.
