摘要: A side airbag apparatus includes an inflator and an airbag. Gas discharged from the inflator inflates and deploys the airbag in a space between a vehicle door and an occupant seated on a front seat in a passenger compartment. The airbag has a tether that limits the thickness of the airbag when the airbag is inflated and deployed. The airbag has a pair of inner surfaces that face each other along the direction of the thickness. The tether bridges the inner surfaces of the airbag. A vehicle exterior joint portion, which couples the tether to the inner surface of the airbag located close to an inner surface of the body side portion, is located closer to a center of the airbag than a vehicle interior joint portion, which couples the tether to the inner surface of the airbag located far from the inner surface of the body side portion.

摘要: The durability of a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell can be enhanced by inhibiting deterioration of a polymer electrolyte membrane of a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell without impairing power generation performance. The production process of a polymer electrolyte membrane for a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell of the present invention is characterized by preparing a solution or dispersion of an alkoxide of a transition element or a rare earth element having a catalytic ability that decomposes peroxides, and (1) preparing a solution of a polymer electrolyte, uniformly mixing the solution or dispersion of the alkoxide with the solution of the polymer electrolyte, and forming a polymer electrolyte membrane, in which the transition metal or the rare earth metal is uniformly dispersed, from the mixed solution, or (2) preparing a polymer electrolyte membrane for a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, uniformly permeating the solution or dispersion of the alkoxide into the polymer electrolyte membrane, and forming a polymer electrolyte membrane in which the transition element or rare earth element is uniformly dispersed by hydrolyzing and condensing the alkoxide.

摘要: The invention provides, as an aspect thereof, an image formation apparatus that includes: an image carrier that carries a latent image; a toner carrier that has, on a surface of the toner carrier, a concave portion arrayed in a regular pattern so as to carry toner, and develops the latent image that is carried on the image carrier by means of the toner carried in the concave portion; and a voltage application section that applies a development voltage to the toner carrier for the purpose of the development of the latent image. In the configuration of an image formation apparatus according to the above-described aspect of the invention, immediately after that the toner carrier has developed the latent image, which is carried on the image carrier, by means of the toner carried in the concave portion in response to the application of the development bias to the toner carrier by the voltage application section, at least one layer of the toner remains carried in the concave portion.

摘要: A power transmission device performs power-saving power transmission that transmits a small amount of power as compared with normal power transmission when the power transmission device has detected that a battery of a load has been fully charged so that the operation of a charge control device (charge control IC) of the load is maintained, thereby enabling recharging due to a charge management function of the charge control device. Since the load state of a power reception device increases when recharging has started, the power transmission device detects an increase in the load state and changes power transmission from power-saving power transmission to normal power transmission. When the power reception device has been removed during power-saving power transmission, the power transmission device detects that the power reception device has been removed, and stops continuous power transmission so that unnecessary power consumption does not occur.
