Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive a first indication indicating a communication direction for the first wireless device for each of a plurality of time periods for a time interval. The first wireless device may also receive a second indication associated with a second wireless device indicating a communication direction for the second wireless device. The first wireless device may adjust a communication configuration for at least a set of time periods of the plurality of time periods based on identifying a communication direction mismatch between the first wireless device and the second wireless device, where the communication direction mismatch is based on the first indication and the second indication.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring timing advances for uplink communications resources. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment includes receiving, from a base station, signaling that configures a first timing advance and a second timing advance. The first timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a half-duplex resource, and the second timing advance is configured to be used by the user equipment when transmitting an uplink communication in a full-duplex resource. The method may further include transmitting, to the base station, a first uplink communication within a first resource using one of the first timing advance or the second timing advance based on whether the first resource comprises a half-duplex resource or a full duplex resource.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve the performance and/or efficiency of a BFD procedure for a UE, where the UE may use DMRS to perform the BFD to reduce the occasion(s) of configuring multiple or frequent CSI-RS resources sets for the UE. In one aspect, an apparatus measures RSRP of one or more reference signals in a reference signal set for a BFD, the one or more reference signals include at least one DMRS. Then the apparatus compares the measurement for the at least one DMRS to a threshold. Then the apparatus initiates or restarts a BFD timer or a BFR procedure based at least in part on the measurement.

Abstract: A network node may select a reference AM/PM impairment signature. The network node may transmit, to a UE, a first indication of the reference AM/PM impairment signature via a security signal. The network node may transmit, to the UE, at least one reference signal via a downlink channel. The at least one reference signal may include added AM/PM impairment based on the reference AM/PM impairment signature. The UE may receive, from a transmitter, at least one reference signal via a downlink channel. The UE may estimate an AM/PM impairment signature in the at least one reference signal. The UE may identify whether the estimated AM/PM impairment signature matches a reference AM/PM impairment signature. Further, the UE may maintain or discard at least one slot associated with the downlink channel based on whether the estimated AM/PM impairment signature matches the reference AM/PM impairment signature.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support repetition of physical downlink control channels (PDCCH) and handling a combined PDCCH candidate associated with multiple search space sets. For example, a UE may combine a first PDCCH candidate corresponding to a first search space set and a second PDCCH candidate corresponding to a second search space set to form a combined PDCCH candidate. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate based on one or more factors, for example, such as a blind decoding PDCCH candidate threshold. As a result, the UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate in addition to decoding of individual PDCCH candidates, thereby providing increased flexibility for downlink control information (DCI) and improving the reliability of PDCCH.
