    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for determining shared resources associated with one or more user equipments (UEs) for sidelink communications, including control resources and data resources. A first UE may determine a first set of control resources in a first frequency band corresponding to a first group of UEs including the first UE. The first UE may transmit a sidelink request to reserve a subset of data resources to a second UE in the first group of UEs. The first UE may monitor for one or more sidelink responses indicating a positive sidelink response to the sidelink request, a negative sidelink response to the sidelink request, or both. The first UE may determine, based on monitoring for the one or more sidelink responses, whether to transmit a sidelink confirmation indicating a reservation of the data resources to the second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless node may transmit, to a control node, an indication of a capability of the first wireless node to perform one or more self-interference cancelation (SIC) procedures between a first antenna array of the first wireless node and a second antenna array of the first wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, from the control node in response to the indication of the capability, a configuration for the first wireless node to use to perform a SIC procedure of the one or more SIC procedures for full-duplex communications. The first wireless node may then communicate, according to the received configuration, with the control node, a control node, or any combination thereof, using the first antenna array and the second antenna array.

    Abstract: An assisting network device receives an incoming signal from a transmitting device. The assisting network device forwards the incoming signal to a receiving device in a beam direction based on a frequency of the incoming signal. A method of wireless communication by a first wireless device includes determining an indication of a frequency domain beam sweeping configuration of an assisting network device. The method communicates a signal with a second wireless device via the assisting network device in a beam direction based on a frequency of the signal. A method of wireless communication by a controlling entity determines a frequency domain beam sweeping configuration of an assisting network device. The method indicates the frequency domain beam sweeping configuration to a first wireless device, via the assisting network device, for communication with a second wireless device in a beam direction based on a frequency of an incoming signal.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that enable a user equipment (UE) in a distributed system to transmit measurement reports for layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) mobility on a per distributed unit (DU) basis such that each measurement report for L1/L2 mobility contains only measurements of cells that are supported by the same DU. The UE may generate and transmit a DU-specific measurement report to the DU (e.g., via L1/L2 signaling) that includes measurements of cells controlled by the DU. The UE may support various reporting configurations for measurement reporting including per cell, per group of activated cells, or per group of deactivated cells, in each case reporting to the corresponding DU. The UE may also perform joint reporting that includes the measurements of both activated and deactivated cell sets transmitted to the corresponding DU.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support controlling transmit power of one or more groups of user equipment (UE) sidelinks using a single sidelink control transmission of group transmit power control (TPC) information. A first UE may transmit group TPC information to one or more groups of UEs, such as by including the group TPC information in sidelink control information (SCI). The group TPC information may include a group TPC indicator and one or more TPC messages for providing one or more group TPC commands with respect to groups of sidelinks. The group TPC commands may provide for power control with respect to a respective group of UEs for one or more channels. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) or a base station may be configured to indicate that a transmission occasion is empty while operating in a full-duplex mode. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication that an uplink transmission occasion (for example, a configured grant transmission occasion) will not be used by the UE for transmitting an uplink communication. In some other examples, the base station may transmit, to the UE, an indication a downlink transmission occasion (for example, semi-persistent scheduling transmission occasion) will not be used by the base station for transmitting a downlink communication. If uplink or downlink transmission occasions are empty, the UE and the base station may each update parameters to operate in a half-duplex mode.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node establishing a signaling connection with an IAB donor node and a sidelink connection with a second IAB node or a user equipment (UE). The first IAB node may include a mobile termination unit and a distributed unit and may support sidelink communications. In some cases, the first IAB node may report an indication of sidelink communications support, receive an indication of sidelink communication authorization, and receive sidelink configuration information. The first IAB node may transmit one or more data messages to the IAB donor on the signaling connection and transmit one or more data messages to the second IAB node or the UE via the sidelink connection.
