    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication relay may receive, via a first wireless link with a base station, a scheduling request that identifies scheduling information for scheduling transmission or reception of data via a second wireless link with a network node. The wireless communication relay may transmit, via the second wireless link, a scheduling command in accordance with the scheduling information. The wireless communication relay may transmit or receive, via the second wireless link, the data in accordance with the scheduling information. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring beam failure recovery operations. A method includes performing beam failure detection of a beam pair link associated with a secondary cell, wherein a user equipment (UE) is configured with one or more uplink control channel groups, each of the one or more uplink control channel groups comprising a corresponding plurality of component carriers where one of the corresponding plurality of component carriers is designated for communication of an uplink control channel for the corresponding uplink control channel group; determining one or more cells on which to send a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) message based on a number of uplink control channel groups the UE is configured with; sending the BFRQ on the one or more cells; and receiving a beam failure recovery response message on at least one of the one or more cells.

    Abstract: The present disclosure addresses selection of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for control information multiplexed on a data channel. A spectral efficiency associated with control information may be derived as a function of a spectral efficiency associated with data. A modulation order and/or code rate may be selected that is suitable for the spectral efficiency associated with the data. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be configured to determine a first MCS for control information based on spectral efficiency associated with transmission of data, and further configured to transmit the control information with the first MCS, the control information being multiplexed with data.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes monitoring one or more reference signals for beam failure detection for a plurality of component carriers (CCs), detecting a beam failure for a subset of one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs based on the one or more reference signals, generating a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) indicating that a beam failure has occurred for the plurality of CCs in response to the detection of the beam failure for the subset of one or more CCs, and transmitting the BFRQ.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and techniques for full-duplex communication. A first system is characterized by techniques for communicating in full-duplex utilizing the Butler matrix beamformer for generating a spatial beam to be used for both uplink and downlink signaling, wherein the signaling utilizes the same time and frequency resources. A second system is characterized by techniques for communicating in full-duplex utilizing the Butler matrix beamformer to generate two spatial beams, one to be used for downlink and one to be used for uplink signaling, wherein the signaling utilizes the same time and frequency resources. Accordingly, the systems and techniques described herein are directed to low complexity, multi-user full-duplex communications.
