Abstract: An uplink transmission method and a communications apparatus, the method including when transmitting, in a subframe in which an autonomous uplink transmission resource is configured, uplink data by using a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, considering that a new data indicator (NDI) for the first HARQ process is toggled, where the first HARQ process is a HARQ process that can be used for autonomous uplink transmission, and before the subframe, there is no uplink grant for the first HARQ process delivered to a HARQ entity, and performing new uplink data transmission in the subframe by using the first HARQ process.

In one example method, a first communications device receives a data unit from a second communications device, where the data unit includes time information, the time information is used to indicate a first moment at which the second communications device sends the data unit, and the time information indicates the first moment based on a part of bits of a frame number. The first communications device determines a delay from the second communications device to the first communications device based on the first moment and a second moment, where the second moment is a moment at which the first communications device receives the data unit.

Abstract: A reference time determining method and apparatus are provided, to prevent aberrations in a control instruction execution time caused by inconsistency between a reference time of a terminal and a reference time of a control device in the conventional technology. In this application, the terminal may receive a plurality of pieces of time reference information sent by the network device. When the terminal receives indication information from the network device, the terminal may select, based on the indication information, one piece of time reference information from the plurality of pieces of time reference information as first time reference information. The indication information indicates the first time reference information. After determining the first time reference information, the terminal may determine the reference time of the terminal based on the first time reference information.

Abstract: This application provides an Ethernet data-based communication method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device from a network device, a parameter used to indicate a first Ethernet compression capability; generating a first Ethernet packet based on the parameter of the first Ethernet compression capability; and sending the first Ethernet packet to the network device. Therefore, not only a manner in which the network device enables the terminal device to use an Ethernet compression capability is proposed, but also the terminal device and the network device can transmit compressed Ethernet data in a wireless network, thereby effectively saving resources.
