Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication that a cell associated with the base station does not support reduced capability UEs, wherein the UE is capable of operating in a first mode that is associated with reduced capability UEs and a second mode that is not associated with reduced capability UEs. The UE may communicate, in the second mode, with the base station to establish a connection with the cell based at least in part on at least one of: the UE supporting one or more capabilities associated with connecting with the cell, or no cells that support reduced capability UEs being available. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a CSI report setting that hastens CSI feedback for SVD-based precoding. More specifically, a UE may receive a configuration from a base station for a CSI report setting for providing DL interference feedback to the base station. The configuration may include information indicating a measurement resource on which an interference measurement is performed for generating the DL interference feedback. The UE may transmit a SRS and the DL interference feedback to the base station, the DL interference feedback being independent of the SRS, such that the UE may receive pre-committed CSI-RS from the base station based on the transmitted SRS and DL interference feedback.

Abstract: A second base station may allocate a set of downlink resources for a downlink transmission. The set of downlink resources may include a subset of null resources, which may serve as a signature for the second base station. The second base station may transmit downlink data or reference signals on the set of downlink resources including the subset of null resources. A first UE may experience the downlink transmission from the second base station as interference. The first UE may identify the set of downlink resources. The first UE may identify the subset of null resources. The first UE may transmit, to a first base station, an indication of the subset of null resources. The first base station may identify the second base station based on the indication of the subset of null resources. The first base station may transmit, to the second base station, an interference coordination message.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of the implementation and design of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in 5G new radio (NR) applications. Aspects include methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for one or more of multiple PDCCH search spaces, control resource block (CRB), irregular multiple slots or mini-slots grants, or fast control channel signaling for grant-free uplink (UL). For example, different scheduling entities can each have one or two search spaces defined (e.g., common and/or user equipment (UE)-centric search spaces). Also, CRBs can be used as units for PDCCH transmission instead of resource element groups/control channel elements (REGs/CCEs). In addition, irregularities in time domain, frequency domain, or both can be introduced in the granting of resource blocks (RBs) over multiple slots or mini-slots. Moreover, signaling can be used to indicate to a UE configured for grant-free UL the portion of the pool of resources available for grant-free UL.

In one aspect, the wireless device may transmit a first report based on one of a location of the wireless wearable device, a time period, or reception of a user-controlled indication to transmit the first report. The wireless device may also receive, based on the transmitted first report, a configuration to switch from a first mode to a second mode. In some aspects, the configuration can include at least one parameter associated with a power savings at the wireless wearable device while in the second mode. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for group reporting of UE receive-transmit (Rx-Tx) time difference measurements for multi-RTT positioning. A plurality of downlink reference signals (DL RSs) are received from a plurality of transmission reception points (TRPs). A corresponding plurality of uplink reference signals (UL RSs) are transmitted to the plurality of TRPs. One or more numerology factors are determined for the plurality of TRPs. A measurement report is generated for the plurality of TRPs based on the numerology factors. The measurement report is transmitted to a network entity. The measurement report includes UE receive-transmit (Rx-Tx) time difference measurements for at least two of the TRPs.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may map a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence to a first symbol in a set of resource blocks (RBs) of an uplink long burst, and the first symbol may occur at the beginning of the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be “front-loaded” in the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be dependent upon RB locations. When the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of an uplink long burst, uplink control information (UCI) may be mapped in a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A UE may map UCI in a PUSCH after the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of the uplink long burst. When the base station receives an uplink long burst including the front-loaded DMRS and the UCI mapped in the PUSCH, the base station may identify the DMRS for channel estimation/interference cancelation of the UCI carried on the PUSCH.
