    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may identify receiving wireless devices for which to send a wake-up radio (WUR) frame. The AP may obtain a basic service set identifier (BSSID) for the AP that is associated with (or intends to be associated with) the receiving wireless devices, the BSSID being known by the receiving wireless devices. The AP may perform a hashing function to the BSSID to obtain a hashed BSSID. The AP may use a first portion of the hashed BSSID as a first identifier. The AP may generate the WUR frame for transmission with an address identifier field that includes either the first identifier or a second identifier. The second identifier nay be based at least in part on the first identifier. The AP may transmit the WUR frame to the receiving wireless devices.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be an AP. The AP determines an interference metric of a BSS having a plurality of STAs. The AP is in the BSS. The interference metric indicates a degree of interference in the BSS caused by one or more hidden nodes associated with the plurality of STAs. The AP determines whether the interference metric meets a threshold. The AP transmits, to the plurality of STAs, a frame including an indicator when the interference metric meets the threshold. The indicator indicates to each of the plurality of STAs to enable a medium reserving procedure. The medium reserving procedure reserves a medium for data transmission.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for control and triggering of machine to machine (M2M) devices (e.g., smart meters). More specifically how to allow an M2M service provider (e.g., utility company) to use an operator's network to communicate with the M2M device connected with a UE/GW associated with the operator's network. The M2M service provider may receive identification of the UE/GW, but not for the M2M device. By transmitting an identifier for the M2M device along with an identifier for the UE/GW, the network operator may define establish and maintain a communication path specific to M2M devices. Similar techniques may be incorporated to allow the M2M service provider to locate and trigger the M2M device.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for accessing networks prohibit uncontrolled communications over a designated network. In some aspects, a method of controlling network access is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting, by a first access point, a first beacon over a first network to a station, the first beacon including information allowing the station to associate with the first access point. The method also comprises receiving a probe request at the first access point over the first network from the station, the probe request including a request for rules for associating with a second network. The method additional comprises generating a probe response to include the rules regarding associating with the second network, wherein the rules do not permit uncontrolled communications over the second network. The method further comprises transmitting the probe response from the first access point to the station over the first network.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may identify a multi-link aggregation capability (e.g., a capability to transmit in parallel over multiple wireless links), and may transmit an indication of such capability to another wireless device. The indication may be included in an information element (e.g., a multi-band element) of a transmission frame. For example, the indication may be included in a multi-band element of a beacon, of association signaling, of probe signaling, of an add block acknowledgement (ADDBA) request, etc. The indication sent over one of the wireless links may include information for some or all the multiple links supported for multi-link aggregation. This information may include media access control (MAC) address, channel information, operating class, security information, etc. for each link. Such multi-link aggregation information may be used, for example, for establishment of improved block acknowledgment (BA) sessions between wireless devices.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured transmit, to a set of stations, a trigger frame that indicates a set of RUs for uplink and/or downlink transmission available to each station of the set of stations. The trigger frame may be a request for feedback on the set of RUs from each station. The apparatus may be configured to receive from each station a response frame over an uplink resource based on the transmitted trigger frame. The response frame may include the feedback on the set of RUs and may be received independent of a channel condition associated with the uplink resource. The feedback may be an ordered list of RUs based on the set of RUs.

The apparatus may be a UE configured to receive from a base station access parameters corresponding to respective types of access controls for different types of data services, receive a TFT established at a core network based on mapping a packet filter to access control information for each type of access control, receive a data packet from an application, match the data packet to the packet filter to determine access control information corresponding to the data packet, and establish communication for the data packet based on access parameters for the determined access control information.     Abstract: Techniques are described herein that illustrate a feedback system to configure various format parameters of physical layer convergence procedure protocol data units (PPDUs) transmitted across a communication link. A receiving device may determine a Doppler shift or a delay spread of a signal received from a transmitting device. The receiving device may determine one or more format parameters for a future PPDU based on the Doppler shift or the delay spread. The receiving device may transmit an indication that includes the format parameters for the future PPDU to the transmitting device. The transmitting device may modify one or more format parameters of a PPDU based on the information in the indication. In some cases, the receiving device may indicate characteristics of mid-ambles, a type of PPDU, a guard interval, high efficiency long training field size for a future PPDU.
