Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communication. A first network entity (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) can receive information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The information can be received from a second network entity (e.g., a base station). The first network entity can perform unicast data communication using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration, wherein the unicast data communication is performed between the first network entity and the second network entity. A second network entity (e.g., a base station) can transmit, to a user equipment (UE), information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The second network entity can perform unicast data communication with the UE using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration.

Abstract: A network node may configure a UE for discontinuous reception (DRX). The network node may transmit, to the UE, a plurality of DRX configurations. Further, the network node may transmit, to the UE, information associated with an active time of a first DRX configuration of the plurality of DRX configurations, with the active time being different from an inactive time of the first DRX configuration. Further, the network node may transmit, to the UE, data based on the active time of the first DRX configuration. The UE may receive the plurality of DRX configurations. Further, the UE may receive the information associated with the active time of the first DRX configuration. The UE may monitor for data based on the active time of the first DRX configuration.

Abstract: A relay user equipment (UE) can relay communication between remote UEs and a network entity via one or more remote device end-to-end (E2E) radio bearers (RB s) established between the network entity and the remote UEs. The remote device E2E radio bearers can be multiplexed into one or more logical channel between the relay UE and the network entity. The relay UE and/or the network entity can allocate communication resources to the remote UEs in consideration of the E2E bearer quality of service (QoS) requirement using, for example, logical channel prioritization at the relay UE and/or different buffer status reports that can provide information on the remote UEs and E2E bearers to facilitate the allocation of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability message indicating support for multiple configured grant small data transmission (CG-SDT) configurations and may receive one or more downlink messages that collectively indicate a downlink bandwidth part (BWP), an uplink BWP and a set of CG-SDT configurations based on transmitting the capability message. Each CG-SDT configuration may be associated with respective time and frequency resources for use in one or more CG-SDTs. The UE may transition out of a radio resource control (RRC) connected state based on receiving the one or more downlink messages. The UE may transmit an initial CG-SDT that includes a common control channel (CCCH) message using time and frequency resources associated with one or more of the set of CG-SDT configurations based on comparing the respective time and frequency resources associated with the each of the CG-SDT configurations.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for multiple sets of prioritization parameters for a random access channel (RACH) procedure. A first set of prioritization parameters of the multiple sets of prioritization parameters may be associated with a higher priority network slice than the other sets of prioritization parameters (e.g., than the remaining sets of prioritization parameters). The UE may detect a trigger to perform a RACH procedure and select the first set of prioritization parameters for the RACH procedure based on the first set of prioritization parameters being associated with the higher priority network slice. The UE may perform the RACH procedure for the network slice according to the first set of prioritization parameters.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of at least one of: one or more anchor cells associated with a target cell, or one or more target cells, including the target cell, associated with an anchor cell included in the one or more anchor cells. The UE may transmit, to the anchor cell, an indication of the target cell and an indication of a target beam index associated with the target cell as part of an initial access procedure with the anchor cell. The UE may establish a connection with the target cell based at least in part on performing the initial access procedure with the anchor cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect, while in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state or an RRC idle state, that data of a small data transmission (SDT) type for a non-SDT data radio bearer (DRB) has entered a buffer of the UE. The UE may transmit a message indicating the data in the buffer for the non-SDT DRB. The message may be associated with a UE ID. Numerous other aspects are described.
